Is vulvar leukoplakia serious?

Vulvar leukoplakia brings great impact and pain to women, and the incidence of this disease is getting higher and higher. It can cause the vulvar skin to become rough and thickened, and lose elasticity, affecting the appearance, and sometimes ulcers and erosions may occur.

Harm 5. The local skin and mucous membranes become thinner and swollen. The labia majora and minora shrink or even disappear, making the vaginal opening narrower, which can cause difficulties in sexual life and childbirth, necessitating a cesarean section.
