1. Avoid eating raw, cold and hard food. The older generation always reminds us that "postpartum food should be warm, not cold!" Warmth can promote blood circulation, while coldness can coagulate the blood, causing poor blood circulation in the body, affecting the discharge of lochia, and also causing indigestion, gastrointestinal dysfunction, diarrhea, etc. Therefore, new mothers should never eat raw, cold or hard food. Raw and cold foods such as ice cream, ice cream, cold drinks, iced fruits, etc. and hard foods such as hard, fried, pan-fried and fatty foods are all foods that mothers should avoid.

2. Avoid eating spicy or irritating foods. Spicy and irritating food is very harmful to the mother's body. 3. Avoid eating too salty food. Overly salty foods, such as pickled foods, contain a lot of salt. The sodium in the salt can cause water retention, and in severe cases, it can cause edema. But you should not avoid salt. Because you will urinate and sweat more after giving birth, the amount of salt excreted also increases. You need to supplement a certain amount of salt to maintain the balance of water and electrolytes. Overly salty foods include pickles, salted eggs, salted fish, bacon, smoked meat, etc.

1. Ginseng: Can cause heavy bleeding

Ginseng is a tonic food that accelerates blood circulation in the human body. When a mother gives birth to a baby, the blood vessels of the internal and external genitalia are often damaged. If a mother is eager to take ginseng after giving birth, it will most likely affect the healing of the wounds of the damaged blood vessels, easily causing continuous bleeding and heavy hemorrhage. Therefore, mothers should not rush to take ginseng within 7 days after giving birth.

2. Stewed hen: causes insufficient milk

The mother's milk secretion benefits from the action of prolactin. The estrogen contained in the hen's ovaries and egg shells will weaken the effectiveness of prolactin, which can easily lead to insufficient milk or even no milk in the mother.

3. Malted milk: causes lactation in parturients

Malted milk contains maltose and malt powder, these two ingredients can supplement the spleen and stomach in the average person's body. However, for mothers who have just given birth, it is easy for the mother to have milk regurgitation.

4. High-fat soup – many side effects

Mothers need a lot of energy after giving birth, but high-fat soup is not an absolute panacea, because high-fat food affects people's appetite, easily changes their body shape, and increases the fat content of breast milk. Many newborn babies will suffer from diarrhea because they cannot digest this high-fat breast milk.
