What foods should I eat for dysmenorrhea

Dysmenorrhea is not unfamiliar to many women. Most of the time, dysmenorrhea is related to the physical condition of women, so you must pay attention to enhancing immunity. Regarding the question of what foods you should eat for dysmenorrhea, you must supplement more vitamins. Women can also drink more brown sugar water to relieve dysmenorrhea.

1. Vitamin E

As we all know, the ovaries have the function of regulating women's menstrual cycle, and vitamin E can promote the secretion of hormones in the ovaries, adding some "oil" to the ovaries, which is very effective in relieving dysmenorrhea. In addition, since blood flow in the body speeds up during menstruation, taking vitamin E at this time not only helps the body excrete toxins, but is also beneficial for improving dry skin.

2. Slightly acidic foods

During menstruation, you can eat some sour foods, such as sauerkraut, vinegar, etc. Sour foods can relieve pain. In addition, people with dysmenorrhea should keep their bowel movements regular, whether before or after menstruation, because once constipated, it is easy for the cervix and uterus to shift, aggravating pain and leading to menstrual disorders. Therefore, eat more honey, bananas, sweet potatoes, etc. as much as possible.

3. Low-fat vegetarian diet

During menstruation, the diet should mainly consist of light and easily digestible vegetarian foods such as fruits and vegetables. These foods are rich in unsaturated fatty acids, which can regulate the secretion of hormones in the ovaries and thus reduce the degree of dysmenorrhea. Soybeans, in particular, are rich in a type of plant estrogen and are most effective in inhibiting dysmenorrhea. Be careful to eat less meat, but you can eat some fried chicken liver or pork liver with ginger on the first or second day of your period. Then eat more foods that have blood-enriching effects, such as red dates, brown sugar, etc.

4. Painkillers

When the pain caused by primary dysmenorrhea affects your study or work, you can take some painkillers appropriately, 1 to 2 tablets at most per month, don't take more, generally there will not be any major side effects. But if it is secondary dysmenorrhea, painkillers will only help you "cover up" the condition, so it is better to see a doctor as soon as possible.
