What is the cause of abdominal pain after cesarean section?

Lower abdominal distension and pain after cesarean section is a common problem, but it cannot be ignored. The cause must be clearly understood, because if you do not pay attention to healthy diet after delivery, or if you are infected by some bacteria, this symptom will also be caused.

1. Pregnant women have a recovery process after childbirth. Generally, the main symptom of postpartum abdominal pain is called "postpartum abdominal pain". The so-called postpartum abdominal pain refers to the symptoms of lower abdominal pain after childbirth, also known as occipital pain. If the lower abdomen is slightly painful within one week after childbirth and disappears naturally after one week, it is a physiological phenomenon of uterine contraction and resetting, not a disease, and there is no need to worry.

Second, the main reasons are:

1. Abdominal pain caused by eating too much, often with irregular diet and unclean history, pain mainly in the abdomen, often accompanied by abnormal bowel movements;

2. Abdominal pain caused by bacterial infection, often accompanied by symptoms of systemic aversion to cold and fever, foul-smelling lochia, persistent abdominal pain and refusal to press, etc.

3. Postpartum lochia, blood stasis, lower abdominal pain, and refusal to massage.

3. Guidance:

Usually you should keep warm and avoid cold, and keep adequate nutrition. Prevention and treatment methods:

(1) Rest in bed, get enough sleep, avoid standing, sitting or squatting for long periods of time, and prevent uterine prolapse, rectal prolapse and other diseases.

(2) To enhance nutrition, you can choose ginseng porridge, lentil porridge, pig kidney porridge, red snapper soup, angelica ginger mutton soup, yellow sugarcane angelica black chicken soup, ginseng jujube mutton soup, etc.

(3) For those with dry stools, take Ma Ren Jiu and a spoonful of honey in the morning and evening, and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, such as bananas and watermelons, to moisten the intestines and promote bowel movements.

(4) Use a hot towel to warm the painful area, or apply acupuncture to Guanyuan acupoint (3 inches below the navel, about three horizontal fingers away from the navel) and Zhongji acupoint (4 inches below the abdomen, that is, four horizontal fingers below the navel), or heat salt in a cloth bag and apply heat to the painful area, or apply heat to Guanyuan acupoint and Zhongji acupoint.

(5) If there is a lot of lochia or bleeding from trauma, you must seek medical attention as soon as possible.
