Caesarean section scar uterus, these things to know

Many people think that cesarean section only leaves scars on the belly. In fact, cesarean section will also leave scars in the uterus. This is what people often call cesarean section scar uterus. This may also be related to personal physique. A scarred uterus will not affect secondary childbirth and can also be repaired.

1. Scars formed on the abdominal incision after cesarean section and there is still pain. It is recommended to first determine where the pain comes from. After making sure there is no infection, you can choose to go to a plastic surgery hospital for scar repair. However, if you have a scar-prone constitution, it is difficult to guarantee whether the scar can be repaired.

2. A thick uterus from a cesarean section is considered a scarred uterus, but this has little effect on future conception. In this case, a scarred uterus will not affect future fertility, and it is not difficult to have a child. It is just that a cesarean section is required for the next delivery. In the early stages of pregnancy, routine blood and urine tests, liver and kidney function tests, and Down syndrome screening are required.

3. Scarred uterus, also known as scarred uterus, refers to a uterus that leaves scars after an injury. A scarred uterus does not necessarily occur in women with a scarred constitution, but most often occurs in mothers who have undergone cesarean section. Because a cesarean section requires an incision in the lower part of the uterus, a scar will form on the anterior wall of the uterus. In addition, women who have undergone gynecological and obstetric surgeries such as myomectomy, uterine perforation or rupture repair, and metroplasty are prone to developing uterine scars.

4. When giving birth, mothers with scarred uterus should first choose the most appropriate delivery method based on their own situation and the doctor's advice. During the delivery process, they should actively cooperate with the doctor to prevent serious hazards such as uterine rupture and bleeding.
