How to diagnose placenta previa? Here are eight ways to teach you

Placenta previa is a problem that occurs after 28 weeks of pregnancy. Placenta previa can cause uterine bleeding, but in many cases it is not a problem. On the one hand, it does not affect the development of the fetus, and on the other hand, it has little effect on the female body, so there is no need to worry too much after examination.

1. The patient must stay in bed and rest. Nursing staff should conduct regular rounds every 15 to 30 minutes to identify the patient's needs in a timely manner.

(2) Place the pager and daily necessities within the patient’s reach.

(3) Assist the patient to eat in the side-lying position, provide a straw for drinking water or soup, provide dietary guidance to the patient, prevent constipation, provide adequate nutrition during pregnancy to ensure the supply of the mother and fetus, and provide daily care for the patient.

(IV) Assist with washing, such as helping the patient wash the face, hands, feet, brush teeth, and use 0.1% of Sanisol or Risuan to scrub the perineum twice a day. Keep the bed unit clean, dry, flat, and comfortable. If necessary, wash the hair and take a bath in bed.

(V) While the patient is bedridden, provide a toilet, empty the excrement, and provide perineal care after urination and defecation. Assist with dressing and grooming.

(6) Keep the indoor ventilation and air fresh. Open windows for ventilation three times a day, each time for 30 minutes.

(VII) Follow the doctor's advice to assist in left-side lying position and administer oxygen three times a day, each time for one hour.

(8) Monitor the patient’s fetal heart rate and fetal movement as directed by the doctor, and assist with B-ultrasound and fetal heart rate monitoring when necessary.
