Recommended basic yoga exercises. I heard they are great for weight loss.

Yoga is a form of exercise that can integrate the body, mind, spirit and soul into one. It can not only cultivate the body and mind, but also has the effect of losing weight, so it is very popular among female friends. Practicing yoga is a gradual process. Today I recommend some basic yoga moves to you. You can practice them at home!

1. Bend and stretch forward and backward

Step 1: Put your legs together, bend your upper body downward, and place your palms on both sides of your feet as close to the ground as possible. However, if your palms cannot touch the ground, your legs can be slightly apart.

Step 2: Maintain your body posture, focus your center of gravity on your thighs, lift your arms off the ground and stretch them forward, with your fingers crossed behind your back. Keep breathing deeply.

Step 3: Then bend your knees, slowly lift your upper body, and stretch your arms backwards. Hold the pose for 3-5 breaths.

2. Sitting Prayer Pose

Step 1: Sit in a simple cross-legged position with your spine straight and your hands placed on your knees with your palms facing up. When doing this pose, let yourself feel your head lifted up.

Step 2: Take a deep breath, bend your elbows and raise your arms in front of your chest, with your elbows touching each other and your palms facing upward.

Step 3: As you exhale, stretch your arms upward as high as possible. Hold the pose for 20-30 seconds.

3. Seated Leg Stretch

You can use a resistance band to assist in completing this pose.

Step 1: Sit down with your legs stretched forward and your upper body straight. Put the middle of the resistance band on the soles of your feet. Grasp both ends of the resistance band with both hands and tighten the band slightly.

Step 2: Next, bend your elbows and pull the elastic band backward. Hold the position for 20-30 seconds, then return to position 1 and repeat 20-30 times.
