The difference between sanitary napkins and panty liners, let's take a look

Sanitary napkins and panty liners are two items commonly used by women during menstruation. Because they look similar, many people don’t understand the difference between them. Let’s learn about them together.

One of the differences is that different items are used in different periods.

First, let’s talk about sanitary napkins. Sanitary napkins are also called sanitary napkins. Everyone knows their uses. When women have their menstrual period, sanitary napkins are used to absorb menstrual blood and prevent blood stains from contaminating clothes. Sanitary napkins are generally made of high-molecular polymers composited with cotton, non-woven fabrics, pulp and other materials. They have good water absorption capacity. At the same time, sanitary napkins have side designs to prevent side leakage. Sanitary napkins can be divided into soft cotton moisture-wicking mesh and super soft dry mesh. Both have their own characteristics and are suitable for female friends with different preferences. Personally, I do not recommend buying unknown brands. Poor quality brands can easily cause hot flashes, itching, and mold. Instead, you should use well-known brands such as Sofy and Afternoon, which are safer. In ancient China, women used white cloth towels as sanitary napkins to absorb menstrual fluid. They would then be replaced and washed with clean water before being used again.

The second difference is that different supplies have different uses

The difference in thickness and size is the main difference between panty liners and sanitary napkins. Panty liners are very small and thin. They are thin enough not to cause discomfort, but they cannot absorb much menstrual blood and can easily leak onto pants. Sanitary napkins are generally larger and are used during menstruation. Even mini sanitary napkins are only smaller in appearance, but they can absorb more menstrual blood than panty liners. Sanitary pads can be used in normal times, that is, when there is a lot of vaginal discharge. Use sanitary napkins if the menstrual flow is heavy, and use sanitary pads if the flow is light. Use sanitary napkins when you have your period. Of course, when your period is about to end and it becomes uncomfortable to use sanitary napkins, sanitary pads can come in handy.
