If a woman's body fluid turns white, she must have endometrial cancer.

Leucorrhea is a liquid that is secreted from the female reproductive tract and discharged through the vagina, which is beneficial to the human body. All healthy women have leucorrhea. Healthy leucorrhea is a slightly acidic viscous substance, usually in small amounts, milky white, egg white-like in color, with a slight fishy smell. It has the function of moistening the vagina, excreting waste, and inhibiting the growth of pathogens. However, when women suffer from gynecological inflammation and other diseases, their leucorrhea will change, especially the appearance of watery leucorrhea or blood in the leucorrhea, which should cause alarm.

Unpleasant odor of leucorrhea can be used to preliminarily diagnose gynecological diseases

If the leucorrhea has a strange smell other than a slightly fishy smell, some gynecological diseases can be preliminarily judged based on the different smells.

Fishy smell: Some cases of vaginitis are caused by Haemophilus vaginalis, and the vaginal discharge has a special fishy smell. At the same time, it is accompanied by symptoms such as vaginal burning, pain, itching, and vulva moisture.

Fishy smell: In cases of vaginitis caused by some anaerobic bacteria infection, Trichomonas infection or Haemophilus vaginalis infection, the leucorrhea often has a fishy smell.

Foul odor: Foul-smelling leucorrhea is often caused by severe infection or tumor of the reproductive tract. Such as malignant tumors of the reproductive tract, severe endometritis, and severe cervical erosion. Especially for elderly women, if the vaginal discharge has a foul odor and is bright red in color, it is often a sign of a malignant tumor.

If the leucorrhea is watery, beware of endometrial cancer

If your vaginal discharge suddenly becomes clear like water, often wets your underwear, and is accompanied by a foul odor, this is typical watery vaginal discharge. Although many gynecological diseases such as vaginitis and cervicitis will have this symptom, if the watery leucorrhea is excessive and lasts for a long time, the possibility of cancer cannot be ruled out. At this time, the first thing to consider is whether you have endometrial cancer or fallopian tube cancer. In addition, if the watery leucorrhea is like rice water, it may also be a sign of fallopian tube cancer. Therefore, once watery leucorrhea occurs, you should seek medical attention promptly, learn about your medical history in detail, check for Trichomonas or fungi in the leucorrhea, carefully examine the cervix, uterus and pelvic cavity, and perform a cervical smear, biopsy or diagnostic curettage if necessary. After the cause is identified, appropriate treatment should be given.

If there is varying amounts of blood mixed in the leucorrhea, it may be caused by cervical polyps, uterine fibroids, severe cervicitis, etc. If it occurs for a long time or the amount of bleeding gradually increases, you should be alert to the possibility of malignant tumors such as cervical cancer and endometrial cancer. Elderly women after menopause should pay special attention to this, as it may be an early sign of malignant tumors. If the amount of bleeding is very small and stops within two or three days, it is mostly bleeding caused by the shedding of the endometrium after menopause or senile vaginitis. If the bleeding is heavy or continuous, the possibility of endometrial cancer should be considered, and an endometrial pathology examination should be done to confirm the diagnosis.

Leucorrhea health care requires enough sleep

Women with abnormal leucorrhea must ensure adequate sleep and avoid staying up late; avoid eating raw, cold, irritating, and acidic foods; in severe cases, rinse the area with warm water three times a day and use sanitary pads during the day. Normally, rinse twice a day in the morning and evening, and continue for half a year to prevent recurrence. Use showers whenever possible and avoid bathing in tubs, public pools or towels in public bathrooms to prevent infection. At the same time, try to relax yourself, regulate your emotions, and avoid anxiety, fatigue, emotional imbalance, and anger. In addition, experts warn that repeated and excessive use of vaginal cleansers may temporarily eliminate some pathogens, but a normal ecological balance cannot be established. Excessive washing also affects the normal physiological function of the reproductive tract, causing more vaginal discharge and even causing vulvar itching and nonspecific vaginitis. In short, vaginal cleaning is limited to the vulva, and its purpose is to remove dirt and residual urine and feces to avoid contamination and disease. The vulva should be cleaned once a day. The best way is to take a hot shower or use a special basin with warm water. It is necessary not to put potassium permanganate, salt, vinegar, etc. in the water. Wash your hands before cleaning the vulva, and then clean from front to back.
