What is premature menopause?

There are still many health risks for women, so they must always pay attention to their own health and safety. So what is the cause of premature amenorrhea? The problem of amenorrhea is a natural physiological reaction. Whether it is the ovaries, uterus or other parts, if there are health risks or functional decline, it will affect the regularity of menstruation and even premature amenorrhea. We must be vigilant about this.

1. Disease causes premature menopause. Wasting diseases, such as severe pulmonary tuberculosis and malnutrition, unique endocrine diseases, such as "obesity reproductive infertility", and the influence of some endocrine glands in the body, such as adrenal glands, thyroid gland, pancreas and other functional disorders. Due to the influence of these factors, menstruation often does not occur. For amenorrhea caused by any of these conditions, as long as the disease is cured, menstruation will return naturally.

2. Atresia of the lower reproductive tract. For example, there is a congenital atresia in the cervix, hymen, labia, etc., or adhesion atresia caused by acquired damage. Although menstruation occurs, the menstrual blood cannot flow out. This situation is called latent or pseudo-amenorrhea. Lower reproductive tract atresia can be completely cured with treatment by a doctor.

3. The reproductive organs are incomplete or underdeveloped. Some people are born without ovaries, or their ovaries are underdeveloped, or their ovaries are damaged, and cannot produce estrogen and progesterone. Therefore, the endometrium cannot undergo cyclical changes, and there will be no endometrial shedding, so there will be no menstruation. Some women are born without a uterus, or have endometrial hypoplasia, or endometrial damage. Even if their ovaries are functioning well and the secretion of estrogen and progesterone is normal, they will not have menstruation.

4. Women's premature menopause is related to the low level of knowledge about women's health. In addition, with the great changes in the living environment, the decline in food and environmental quality, the reduction in physical labor, and the excessive intake of protein, fat, etc., the normal menstrual pattern of women will be affected to varying degrees.

The above article gives a clear introduction to what premature menopause is, and I believe everyone has a clear idea of it. The problem of amenorrhea should not be underestimated. It is related to one's own health and normal life, especially for female friends who are preparing to have children. After amenorrhea, they will naturally lose their fertility, so early prevention and treatment are still needed.
