Pros and cons of internal tampons

Pros and cons of internal tampons

Internal tampons are just like sanitary napkins in China and are indispensable items for women abroad. In foreign countries, the use of internal tampons is very common, but in China, the use of sanitary napkins is more common. Sanitary napkins have their own advantages and disadvantages, and tampons naturally have their own advantages and disadvantages. Next, let’s take a look at some of the advantages and disadvantages of internal tampons!

Advantages of tampons:

1. Clean: Refreshing, breathable and non-greasy, and it won’t be hot and humid in summer

2. Leak-proof: Mom no longer has to worry about me getting up in the morning to wash the sheets and underwear

3. Portable: It is convenient to take out, you won’t feel shy when taking it out, and it is more environmentally friendly than sanitary napkins.

4 Freedom: You can swim and exercise during your period, and you don’t have to worry about being embarrassed when you go to the beach.

5. Hygiene: The tampon absorbs the menstrual blood before it comes into contact with the air and creates odor, greatly reducing the chance of bacterial growth.

shortcoming:

I feel nervous when inserting and pulling it out, and I am always worried about wetting the rope when I pee. The first time I used it, the foreign body sensation was very obvious and I could hardly walk. But once I got used to it, it felt like it didn’t exist at all and I felt completely unrestrained. If you have gynecological problems, especially vaginitis, you should not use tampons.

Directions:

1 Wash your hands and hold the handle of the outer catheter with your thumb and middle finger.

2 After relaxing your body, push the catheter 45 degrees upward into the vagina until your finger touches the skin of the vaginal opening.

3 Use your index finger to push the inner catheter in until it overlaps with the outer catheter.

4 Pull out the entire catheter to avoid pulling the cotton thread.

If you feel very uncomfortable when using an internal tampon, then there is a problem with the placement of the tampon. If it is the first three days of your period, it may not be difficult to insert a tampon. But if the amount of blood is relatively small in the later stages of menstruation, it may be drier and harder to push in, so you can use sanitary napkins in the next few days. Whether you use sanitary napkins or tampons, they must be replaced in time for hygiene.
