5. Calming and soothing the nerves. The flavonoids contained in jujube, namely diglucoside A, have sedative, hypnotic and antihypertensive effects. The isolated naringenin C glycosides have central nervous system inhibitory effects, that is, they reduce spontaneous movements and stimulating reflexes, as well as tonic and catalepsy effects. Therefore, jujube has the function of calming the nerves and soothing the nerves. 6. Anti-cancer and anti-mutation Jujube contains a variety of tri-compounds, among which phytic acid and behenic acid have been found to have anti-cancer activity and have inhibitory effects on sarcoma S-180.
