Can women do sit-ups one month after cesarean section?

Many expectant mothers give birth by caesarean section. After giving birth, the appearance of women has changed, and some have gained weight. If you want to lose weight, it is recommended to do some sit-ups. However, some women don’t know when to do sit-ups. Some people suggest doing sit-ups after one month. I wonder if doing sit-ups at this time is good for the body?

Experts recommend that mothers who have had a caesarean section should wait at least six weeks for the incision to heal and for the doctor to check that there are no major problems before doing sit-ups. Start by doing pelvic floor muscle exercises (do them when you exhale, not when you inhale), then pull your belly in and out (this is a lower abdominal muscle exercise). Once you can do this easily and can hold it for 10 seconds without holding your breath, you can slowly begin to do sit-ups. Keep your knees bent and your pelvic floor muscles and abdomen tense as you slowly lift your head and shoulders off the ground. If your abdominal muscles are still bulging when you sit up, or if you find it difficult or painful to sit up, it means that you started your sit-up training too early.

Even if you start exercising with the intention of getting a flat stomach, remember that there is no such thing as "spot fat reduction." While your belly may be the area you want to work on, the only way to help you shed those extra pregnancy pounds is with aerobic exercise like walking, jogging, swimming, or cycling. Start slowly and increase the amount of exercise gradually. At first you may only be able to do it for 10 to 15 minutes, but you will gradually get stronger.

Sit-ups are best done in conjunction with aerobic exercise. If you only do sit-ups, you may only tone the muscles underneath the excess fat, and you may not see much improvement from the outside.

In fact, you must master the time when doing sit-ups, especially after a caesarean section. You should let the wound heal better before you can engage in many fitness exercises, especially sit-ups. Losing weight is what every girl wants to do, especially expectant mothers who have just given birth. This desire is the strongest, but it also requires physical recovery.
