Is moderate cervical erosion easy to cure?

We all know that cervical erosion is divided into three degrees. Most mild cases do not require treatment, and you just need to pay more attention to it. However, once it reaches moderate and severe levels, treatment is necessary. Many patients who are diagnosed with moderate cervical erosion will be more worried about whether the disease will be difficult to treat when it reaches this level. There are several treatment methods for this disease. Let me tell you if moderate cervical erosion is easy to treat.

Drug treatment:

Drug treatment is mainly suitable for non-pregnant patients with mild to moderate cervical erosion, but drug treatment generally has a long course and is more expensive.

The following medications can be used for cervical erosion with small surface and shallow inflammatory infiltration:

① 10-20% silver nitrate: Apply topically once a week, 2-4 times as a course of treatment. ② Potassium permanganate: Apply topically after menstruation, and repeat once after 1 to 2 months. This method must be operated by professional staff.

Physical therapy:

Used for cervical erosion with larger area and deeper inflammatory infiltration.

① Electric ironing: Use a special electric iron to burn the eroded surface tissue to make it necrotic and fall off, reaching a certain depth.

② Cryotherapy: Use a special rapid freezing device to freeze, necrotize and fall off the diseased tissue on the cervical erosion surface. The commonly used cryogen is liquid nitrogen, which can reduce the temperature of the cryostat head to -196 degrees Celsius. It can be cured in 1 time. A small number of patients experience slight dizziness, lower abdominal pain, etc., and this method is rarely used for treatment now.

③ Laser treatment: Use carbon dioxide laser therapy device more often, and use a special laser treatment head to irradiate the eroded tissue to make it carbonize, inflame, and fall off, and then grow new squamous epithelium. Generally, it can be cured in one time. There was no special discomfort during the operation, but a few patients experienced bleeding during the dementia removal.

④ BBT treatment: It is a treatment that uses special wavelength photothermal therapy, which is simple, painless and effective.

Surgical treatment:

For patients who are unresponsive to medication and physical therapy, have deep or large cervical erosion, have cervical hypertrophy or cysts, or are suspected of having cancer, cervical cone resection or total hysterectomy may be considered.

The above is an introduction to whether moderate cervical erosion is easy to treat. When women with cervical erosion choose a treatment method, it is best to choose under the guidance and advice of a doctor. Do not blindly use medication for treatment to avoid aggravating the condition. Pay more attention to rest during treatment, and eat a light diet, and avoid spicy, cold, fatty and other foods.
