How to treat vaginal candidiasis?

For many women, vaginitis is quite common. Most of the vaginitis is candidiasis. This disease is mostly caused by not paying attention to daily hygiene, or it may be caused by poor ventilation during menstruation. 1. Treatment

Supportive treatment: If diabetes is present, it should be treated actively. Promptly discontinue broad-spectrum antibiotics, estrogens, and corticosteroids. Change your underwear frequently, and wash used underwear, basins and towels with boiling water.

1. Imidazoles: Imidazoles are a class of antifungal drugs that have developed rapidly in recent years. It is mostly applied topically, with definite efficacy and few side effects, but the recurrence rate is high. Among imidazole drugs, clotrimazole and tioconazole are the clinical first choice because of their significant efficacy and few side effects.

Topical medications

① Clotrimazole: a traditionally used drug. Early usage was mostly clotrimazole suppositories 100 mg/d, inserted into the vagina, with 7 days as a course of treatment. Recently, a single dose of 500 mg of clotrimazole lactic acid formulation (trade name Canesten) is commonly used for vaginal administration. It has better efficacy and is more convenient to use than before. Patients have better compliance with the drug and it can also be used by pregnant women.

②Miconazole: chemical name is diclofenac, trade name is Daconazole. It is currently widely used in China, and there is also miconazole (Daktarin) cream, which can be used for vulvar and male genital candidiasis and candida infection of the skin of newborns and infants. Pregnant women after 3 months of pregnancy can also use it under the guidance of a doctor. Take 1 capsule once every night for 3 consecutive days as a course of treatment.

③ Tioconazole: The trade name is appropriate, and its effect on Candida is better than clotrimazole, miconazole, econazole and ketoconazole. Tioconazole vaginal ointment is administered in a single dose, is easy to use, has few side effects, and has significant therapeutic effects. The drug is administered once every night before going to bed using the attached medication dispenser. The course of treatment is 3, 6 or 14 days.

Although vaginitis is a gynecological disease, it is not so serious that it cannot be treated. It requires timely conditioning so that women's bodies can slowly get better. It is best not to wear tight pants or use sanitary pads often, so as to effectively avoid candidal vaginitis. In addition, it is best not to stay up late often. Good living habits can give you a good body.
