How to treat mild cervical erosion in married women

It is very common for women to suffer from cervical erosion. In serious cases, some women with no sexual history may also suffer from the disease. Of course, married women have a higher chance of developing the disease and there will be more patients. There are many types of cervical erosion, such as mild, moderate and severe, and their symptoms and treatments are different. However, it can also be used as a reference in treatment. In order to avoid repeated attacks of the disease, patients can stop taking the medicine only after they are cured. So how do married women treat cervical erosion?

Drug treatment

Drug treatment has few side effects and is more suitable for women who have not given birth. The most common drugs for treating cervical erosion abroad are Shadier Gel, Huijian Combination, and topical drug suppositories, which are more effective but relatively expensive.

1. Carefully apply 10-30% silver nitrate solution or 10% iodine to the affected area with a cotton swab. After using silver nitrate, apply normal saline to convert excess silver nitrate into non-corrosive silver chloride. Take twice a week, 4 to 6 times as a course of treatment, and repeat if necessary.

2. Use a cotton swab to dip in potassium dichromate solution and carefully apply it to the affected area. Apply the medicine once after the menstruation is over and repeat it after the next menstruation. It is sometimes more effective for those with larger erosion areas. Before applying the medicine, wipe the cervical mucus with 0.1% chlorhexidine, and place two cotton balls in the posterior fornix to prevent the medicine from flowing down and burning the vaginal mucosa. After finishing, take out the cotton ball and wipe the applied area with a 75% alcohol cotton swab (formula: 10g potassium dichromate, 75ml concentrated sulfuric acid, add water to 100ml).

Physical therapy

1. Electric ironing therapy: Using the thermal effect, the local temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius, causing the local lesions to coagulate, necrotize, scab, and fall off for repair. It is suitable for patients with deeper erosion and larger erosion area. After treatment, vaginal discharge, sometimes purulent, will occur until the wound is completely healed, which takes about 6 weeks.

2. Radiofrequency ablation technology: Apply radiofrequency to eroded tissue, accurately control the temperature of the tissue at the superconducting tip through a computer, release huge energy, and make the inflammatory erosive tissue dehydrate, coagulate and disappear during the thermal coagulation process, thus restoring the normal state of the cervix. This method has the advantages of little pain, quick effect and simplicity. Within one month after treatment, you should avoid sexual intercourse, bathing and vaginal douching, otherwise it will greatly increase the chance of infection.

3. LEEP knife is also called ultra-high frequency radio wave knife: it generates 6.0 MHz high-frequency radio waves through the tip of the electrode. After contacting the body, due to the impedance of the tissue itself, it absorbs this high-frequency radio wave and instantly generates high heat to complete the treatment of cervical erosion. The advantage is that very fine surgical effects can be achieved. It will not cause tissue pulling or carbonization and will cause little damage to surrounding tissues. Less pain and less chance of scarring. The operation is short, averaging 3 to 5 minutes, and the operation is simple and painless.

How do married women treat mild cervical erosion? Patients can choose drug therapy or physical therapy. Physical therapy is for patients with stubborn and recurrent illness, or patients who are worried that drug therapy is ineffective. During treatment, sexual intercourse should be stopped, and attention should be paid to the hygiene of the lower body. More attention should be paid to the choice of treatment method. When patients cannot grasp the effect of treatment, it is best to follow the doctor's advice and not to trust folk prescriptions or use drugs indiscriminately.
