What causes pimples on labia?

It is understandable that some married women have some gynecological diseases, but why do some young unmarried girls also have some gynecological diseases? Some girls find that they have pimples on their labia, but it is difficult to tell others because it is such a private matter. So, what is the situation when a girl has pimples on her labia?

Enlarged labia minora can be congenital or acquired. Acquired enlargement of the labia minora is mostly caused by long-term local chronic irritation or continuous friction, such as female vaginitis and vulvitis. Due to long-term stimulation of inflammatory secretions, the skin and mucous membrane of the labia minora chronically proliferate and hypertrophy, the local skin and mucous membrane become rough, and the pigmentation becomes heavier. Some people who ride bicycles or motorcycles for a long time may also suffer from hypertrophy of the labia minora due to long-term friction and compression of the local area. Enlarged labia minora are not only unsightly in appearance, but also cause psychological disorders in some patients and bring many inconveniences to patients' lives. For example, enlarged labia minora may cause discomfort due to local compression and friction when exercising, walking, cycling or sitting for a long time. Or during menstruation, there may be pain due to friction from sanitary napkins. Some patients may experience obstruction or pain during sexual intercourse, and some patients may develop local ulcers and suffer unbearable pain. Therefore, when labia minora hypertrophy affects normal life, surgical treatment should be performed.

Labiaplasty is a type of gynecological plastic surgery. Currently, many women have very high requirements for their body shape and private parts, so if there is any discomfort or visual impact, they will try to improve it. Labiaplasty is mainly used to address the symptoms of labia hypertrophy or asymmetry of the labia majora and minora.

Enlarged labia minora can cause local discomfort and pain due to friction with underwear. In addition, enlarged labia usually appear dark and ugly, with some parts becoming cauliflower-shaped. Labiaplasty is an effective way to cure this symptom. So in what cases is labiaplasty necessary?

1. If the labia minora is too large or too long and unsightly, you can trim it to be smaller, shorter and thinner. There are many ways to do this and it is not difficult.

2. If the two sides are obviously asymmetrical in size, you can reduce the larger side, but it is not recommended to enlarge the smaller side because it is more troublesome and may not necessarily achieve symmetry between the two sides.

2 Preparation

1. Starting 3 days before labiaplasty surgery, clean the vulva with lotion every day to keep it dry and clean.

2. Sexual intercourse is prohibited starting 3 days before surgery.

3. Do not take medications containing aspirin within two weeks before surgery, as aspirin can reduce the function of platelet coagulation.

4. Labiaplasty is not recommended during menstruation, pregnancy, or lactation for 6 months.

In fact, it is not a big deal to have pimples on the vulva. As long as we have a positive attitude, we can move forward positively. If we suffer from diseases such as pimples on the labia, we must go to the relevant hospital in time for some basic treatment to prevent the disease from spreading.
