Total prolapse is a very harmful disease for women. Prolapse can easily cause infection through the vaginal opening into the uterus, and even inflammation. Especially for many mothers who have just given birth, uterine prolapse is most likely to occur. So in this process, how can we identify uterine prolapse and how can we prevent it in our daily lives! The treatment of uterine prolapse should be based on strengthening or restoring the supporting role of the pelvic floor tissue and the ligaments around the uterus. (I) General supportive therapy: Improve physical fitness, strengthen nutrition, pay attention to proper rest, maintain smooth bowel movements, avoid increased abdominal pressure and heavy physical labor, and treat chronic diseases such as chronic cough and diarrhea. (ii) Non-surgical treatment is suitable for patients with severe grade I and mild grade II uterine prolapse. For patients who are weak or cannot tolerate surgery due to other diseases, the use of a pessary combined with general supportive treatment has good results. (III) Surgical treatment is indicated for patients who have failed conservative treatment or have severe grade II or grade III uterine prolapse. The appropriate surgical method should be selected based on the patient's age, fertility requirements, and overall health condition. 1. Repair of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls plus shortening of the main ligament and partial cervical resection, also known as Mann's surgery, is suitable for younger women with longer cervix who wish to retain their fertility. 2. Vaginal hysterectomy and anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair is suitable for patients with grade II and III uterine prolapse complicated by vaginal wall bulging who are older and do not need to have more children. 3. Anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair is suitable for grade I uterine prolapse accompanied by obvious prolapse of the anterior and posterior vaginal walls without cervical elongation. 4. Vaginal septum formation: This operation partially closes the vagina and causes loss of sexual intercourse function. It is only suitable for the elderly and frail or those who cannot tolerate complex surgery due to other diseases and have no suspected malignant lesions in the uterus. It is recommended to go to the gynecology department of a regular hospital for relevant examinations and treatment. In the article, we learned how to identify uterine prolapse. First of all, because everyone's physical condition is different, we must take some methods to actively treat it, especially paying attention to daily hygiene after delivery, rest more at work, and pay more attention to sterilization and anti-inflammation. |
