How long is the breastfeeding period?

Women will be given a certain amount of time off during breastfeeding to avoid affecting the baby's breastfeeding. Whether at work or in other jobs, my country's statutory breastfeeding period provides time for breastfeeding, which can well ensure the health of the fetus. Therefore, those who want to know can come to learn more about it. So how much is the breastfeeding time during breastfeeding?

The Regulations on Labor Protection for Female Employees stipulate that any employer should provide female employees with infants under one year old with two breastfeeding (including artificial feeding) periods of 30 minutes each during each working shift. For multiple births, the breastfeeding time should be increased by 30 minutes for each additional baby. Breastfeeding time and the time spent traveling to and from the workplace for breastfeeding are counted as working time. Enterprises shall not reduce the basic salary of female employees during their breastfeeding period.

The "Regulations on Health Care for Female Employees" (Weifufa [1993] No. 11) jointly issued by the Ministry of Health, the former Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Personnel, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and the All-China Women's Federation further stipulates that when an infant is one year old and is diagnosed as a weak child by a medical or health care institution at or above the county (district) level (including counties and districts), the breastfeeding period can be appropriately extended, but not more than 6 months. That is, breastfeeding female employees can take breastfeeding leave until the baby is one and a half years old.

National laws provide for breastfeeding leave ~ twice a day, half an hour each time. If it is at noon, the travel time is not included. You can talk to your boss. If you are asked to go back to work, I cannot give you the same workload as before.

No need to avoid milk: You can use a breast pump and a bottle to feed.

The method is: at work, go to the bathroom or other secluded place to suck out the milk when your period comes or your milk is swollen, then store it with ice packs, and bring it home during lunch, the afternoon meal, and the evening meal. It is fine to suck out the milk at night and put it in the refrigerator overnight. Please note that milk expressed at different times cannot be mixed, as this will easily lead to cross-deterioration.

The above is the breastfeeding period. If you can make corresponding applications to breastfeed during the breastfeeding period, you can also use the above method to preserve breast milk, and then breastfeed when you need to. However, this also has certain hazards and can easily lead to problems such as breast milk deterioration. Therefore, it is best to breastfeed on time.
