What causes itching and leucorrhea?

Many women sometimes find some leucorrhea on their underwear, and the amount may even increase every day. There is a certain amount of leucorrhea. If the amount is large, it means that there is a disease. So what causes the increase of leucorrhea and even itching? In fact, the following situations may lead to an increase of leucorrhea. Let me briefly explain them to you.

Generally speaking, normal leucorrhea is colorless, tasteless, and odorless, and will not wet your underwear. But as for how much leucorrhea is usually produced, it actually varies from person to person, so I suggest that every girl observe the amount of leucorrhea once after the end of menstruation every month. Also observe once between two menstrual periods, and then use these two times as the benchmark. If the amount of vaginal discharge during the entire menstrual cycle is not larger than that after the end of menstruation, it is normal.

Normal leucorrhea will also change with the menstrual cycle. The following conditions will naturally show more leucorrhea:

In the two or three days between the middle of the menstrual cycle and close to the ovulation day, there will be two to three times more vaginal discharge than usual. At this time, if the discharge is so much that it wets the underwear, it is considered normal.

The secretion will increase one or two days before ovulation, and on the day of ovulation there will be a thicker secretion, like snot. If you can pull it apart with your hands to an elastic size of 10-15 cm, it means it is the ovulation day (you can also use this to determine the ovulation day).

Either a few days before the menstrual period or on the day of the period, the discharge will be heavier and darker in color.

Women during pregnancy also have more vaginal discharge.

The above situations may cause an increase in vaginal discharge. Once you are in the above periods and the vaginal discharge increases, I hope that female friends do not need to worry too much. In many cases, after this period of time, the vaginal discharge will gradually return to normal. If it is a common abnormality, you still need to get a check-up.
