What is the reason for the increase of yellow leucorrhea?

Vagina is a very normal condition in the female physiological structure, and transparent and odorless leucorrhea is a sign of a healthy woman. If you find that the leucorrhea is abnormal, especially if the color is wrong, you need to pay attention. So what is the reason for the increase in yellowing leucorrhea? In fact, there are many abnormalities in leucorrhea, and the colors also vary. If it is yellow, there must be a certain cause.

If the vaginal discharge is excessive and becomes yellow, purulent, or even bloody, it is considered pathological. For pathological yellow leucorrhea, we first need to find out the cause before we can prescribe the right medicine. There are several possible reasons why female friends may have yellow leucorrhea:

1. The leucorrhea is milky white or light yellow, purulent, large in amount, and has a foul odor, often accompanied by abdominal pain. It is generally caused by chronic cervicitis or endocervicitis.

2. The leucorrhea is yellow-white in color, and most of the time it is sticky, but sometimes it can be thin. It is typically milky white, like bean dregs, or in the form of curd-like white flakes or lumps. Most of the time it is caused by fungal infection.

3. After women suffer from cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, uterine cancer and other diseases, the "leucorrhea" they secrete is mostly manifested as: the amount of leucorrhea increases, it is like rice washing water, yellow and turbid with a foul odor, sometimes mixed with blood and is light pink, and the amount is large.

4. Foreign objects have entered the reproductive organs. There are gauze, tampons, menstrual plugs, etc. in the vagina. Some women have contraceptive devices placed in their uterus because it is not suitable for some reason. All of these will stimulate the reproductive organs and increase the amount of leucorrhea and turn it yellow.

Therefore, excessive yellow leucorrhea is pathological and you should be alert to the possibility of gynecological diseases, with vaginitis being the most common, such as candidal vaginitis, Trichomonas vaginitis, bacterial vaginitis, etc. It is recommended to go to the hospital for a detailed gynecological examination and diagnosis and treatment in time.

If the leucorrhea appears yellow as shown above, you need to pay special attention to it. In fact, many diseases in life can cause abnormal leucorrhea or even yellow color. You need to understand what factors cause the infection. Only by understanding the cause of the disease can you know why the leucorrhea turns yellow.
