Swelling here will affect fertility

Fertility is very important for any family. Nowadays, the health of many young people is a problem, so fertility has also become a big problem. Nowadays, the number of people with difficulty in giving birth is also increasing. So, if a woman has swelling here, can she still give birth? The following editor will explain it to you!

Thyroid problems may impair female fertility, a British study has found. The new research, from the Bristol Centre for Reproductive Medicine in the UK, shows that 2.3% of women with fertility problems have hyperthyroidism, compared with 1.5% in the general population. Additionally, hypothyroidism affects 0.5% of women of childbearing age.

The researchers point out that changes in thyroid function play an important role before, during and after pregnancy. Abnormal thyroid function may lead to reduced pregnancy rate, increased risk of miscarriage, adverse pregnancy and neonatal abnormalities, etc.

Experts call for women with fertility problems, difficulty conceiving or habitual miscarriage to undergo routine thyroid function tests and receive timely treatment and conditioning if problems are found to reduce the risk of infertility.

Goiter is not hereditary, but it requires long-term medication treatment and may also cause serious complications such as hemangiomas. Therefore, it is best for patients not to become pregnant. They can have children after the disease is completely cured, and should pay attention to regular related examinations to avoid causing excessive adverse effects on their own and the fetus' health. Patients can use drugs such as summer cypress paste or iodine radiotherapy for treatment. The daily diet needs to ensure sufficient iodine. Be sure to use iodized salt and eat more seaweed, pirate and other foods.
