What is left ovarian borderline mucinous cystadenoma?

What is left ovarian borderline mucinous cystadenomas? Do you all know? What kind of people suffer from this disease? How to treat it? What are the symptoms of this disease? Is everyone clear about these issues? What should we do if we get this disease? Every disease has its cause. Let us take a look at the relevant content about left ovarian borderline mucinous cystadenoma.

A concept

Ovarian cystadenoma, translated into English as cystadenoma of ovary. It is an ovarian tumor. A cystadenoma is a tumor in which secretions are retained in the lumen of the adenoma and the tumor expands in a cystic manner. Because the disease occurs in the ovary, it is called an ovarian cystadenoma. Cystadenoma is a tumor with multiple chambers of varying sizes due to the proliferation of glandular epithelial cells covering the inner wall. The contents may include various substances such as serous fluid, mucus, pseudomucus, and colloid. It is most common in the ovaries, but can also be found in the breast, kidneys, pancreas, and liver.

Second, the cause of

Cystadenoma: Due to the accumulation of glandular secretions in the adenoma, the glandular cavity gradually expands and fuses with each other, and cystic cavities of varying sizes can be seen with the naked eye. Cystadenomas usually occur in the ovaries and occasionally in the thyroid and pancreas. There are two main types of ovarian cystadenomas: one is that the glandular epithelium grows in a papillary shape into the cystic cavity and secretes serous fluid, so it is called serous papillary cystadenoma; the other secretes mucus, is often multilocular, has a smooth cystic wall, and rarely has papillary hyperplasia, which is called mucinous cystadenoma. Among them, serous papillary cystadenoma is more likely to undergo malignant transformation and transform into serous cystadenocarcinoma.

Three other

Adenomas are common in endocrine glands such as the breast, pituitary, thyroid, ovaries, and in the stomach, intestines, and liver. It develops slowly, forming localized nodules with a polyp-like or papillary surface. It is composed of cuboidal or columnar epithelial cells similar to normal glandular cells. The cells are also arranged in a regular pattern, with a clear boundary between their lamina propria and the surrounding connective tissue, but the lack of excretory duct formation or abnormal secretion indicates that there is some heterogeneity in structure and function. The stroma of adenoma is composed of connective tissue including blood vessels. Many tumors are accompanied by significant connective tissue hyperplasia (fibro-adenoma). Sometimes there are malignant adenomas, which are actually a type of cancer. The occurrence and development of adenoma are mostly controlled by endocrine, nervous and other regulatory mechanisms in the body. In this sense, some scholars believe that adenoma is only a pathological tissue proliferation rather than a true tumor.

I believe that after reading the above content, you will have a preliminary understanding of the left ovarian junctional mucinous cyst. Everyone must read it carefully, because the patient population is quite wide. For the health and safety of yourself and others, it is still of great benefit to us to accumulate more knowledge about the case. Therefore, everyone must care about life and care about their own health. Let us stay away from diseases and maintain a healthy and good mood.
