Issues to note when taking physical therapy for cervicitis

Cervicitis is one of the most common gynecological diseases in women. It is generally believed that it may be caused by surgery, such as delivery surgery, abortion surgery, or it may be caused by excessive sexual life or interference. In short, no matter how it is caused, it is very troublesome for female friends. Once discovered, it must be treated in time. Physical therapy is one of the more commonly used methods. Here we want to explain the taboos of physical therapy.

Physical treatment for cervicitis, such as laser, infrared, freezing, LEEP knife, ultrasonic focused knife, etc. Currently, the most commonly used physical therapy method for treating cervicitis is LEEP knife. Because LEEP knife is not only effective in treating cervical diseases and can cure them in one go, it also does not hurt the cervix. Unmarried and childbearing women can also choose LEEP for the treatment of cervicitis.

So what are the precautions for physical treatment of cervicitis?

1. Physical therapy for cervicitis may cause postoperative bleeding, cervical stenosis, infertility, and infection. Regular follow-up examinations are required after treatment to observe the healing of the wound until it is completely healed. At the same time, attention should be paid to whether there is cervical stenosis.

2. It is contraindicated if there is acute genital inflammation.

3. During the period when the wound surface of cervicitis treatment has not yet completely healed (4-8 weeks), bathing, sexual intercourse and vaginal douching are prohibited.

4. After physical therapy for cervicitis, there will be increased vaginal secretions, even a large amount of watery discharge, and there may be a little bleeding when the scab falls off 1-2 weeks after the operation.

5. The treatment time for cervicitis should be within 3-7 days after the menstruation ends.

6. Before treating cervicitis, a routine cervical smear and cell examination should be performed.

I hope you will pay attention to the 6 taboos listed, otherwise it will affect the treatment effect and even cause other complications. In addition, before that, by improving one's own resistance and cooperating with certain drugs to reduce inflammation and kill bacteria, the effect of physical treatment of cervicitis can also be supplemented.
