Approximate age of menarche in girls

For girls, menarche is a very important thing for them, but they do not know this common sense during adolescence. Generally, women will be panicked and fearful when menarche comes, but in fact, this is a normal physiological phenomenon. Moreover, girls should pay more attention to their physical health and care when menarche comes. It is important to understand at what age girls usually have their menarche.

A girl's first menstrual period is called menarche. Most girls have their first period between the ages of 12 and 14. Before menarche, girls' breasts begin to develop, their height grows suddenly, and some have already grown pubic or armpit hair. Generally speaking, menarche is often anovulatory menstruation, and ovulation occurs several months to a year after menarche. One day, a girl in puberty may suddenly find that blood is flowing out of her vagina. This is called menarche. The average age of onset is 12 to 14 years old. Due to the influence of genetic factors, geographical environment, climatic factors, life and social environment, there are great differences in the age of menarche among different races, people from different regions and individuals. Pay attention to personal hygiene during menarche, especially cleaning of the genitals.

1. Menarche is an inevitable part of physical development and a sign of puberty. There is no need to worry too much. Be fully prepared for the discomforts such as low back pain, drowsiness, fatigue, and weakness that may occur during menarche to avoid panic and increase psychological burden.

2. During menarche, you should avoid participating in strenuous sports, long-distance cycling and running, etc., so as to prevent excessive fatigue from causing a decrease in resistance and inducing diseases such as colds.

3. During menstruation, you should wash your vulva frequently and avoid masturbation, because the body's resistance is reduced during this stage. If you do not pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene, it is very easy to cause bacterial infection and fever. According to statistics, the incidence of vulvar pruritus in girls during menstruation is about 6.9%, and its main inducing factors are related to unclean vulva during menstruation and masturbation.

4. Strengthen self-protection and use high-quality sanitary napkins. Never use inferior products for the sake of saving money, and never replace them with ordinary toilet paper and straw paper that are not strictly disinfected.

I hope that parents will pay attention to their children's understanding of these physiological common sense. Because for children, if they cannot learn more about these common sense, then when facing these things, they will not feel fear and will not know how to deal with them effectively. Therefore, parents should not ignore these issues during the children's growth process.
