Every woman wants to have a pair of plump and elastic breasts to make her body curves look more beautiful. However, in modern society, the incidence of various breast diseases is increasing. Therefore, if you want to have healthy breasts, you should always pay attention to the condition of your breasts and be alert immediately if any abnormality occurs. 1. Orange peel-like changes. Breast cancer invades the subcutaneous lymphatic vessels and obstructs lymphatic return, which can cause skin edema. However, the skin at the hair follicles will not swell accordingly, so the surface is prone to depression, just like orange peel. Experts remind that diseases that can cause orange peel-like changes include: fibroadenoma, tuberculosis, fibrocystic hyperplasia, sarcoma, breast cancer and fat necrosis. 2. Asymmetry. Congenital asymmetry is mainly due to the influence of estrogen and progesterone in the body during puberty, which causes the more sensitive breast to develop too quickly while the other breast develops too slowly; acquired asymmetry mainly occurs in women who have given birth and breastfed, who are accustomed to using one breast when feeding, or have incorrect feeding posture and method. 3. Skin ulceration. Among breast cancer patients, some will have skin problems, manifested as local ulcers that are difficult to heal and accompanied by large amounts of bloody, purulent and foul-smelling secretions. 4. Redness/fever. Darkening and warming of the nipple and areola may indicate the presence of hyperplastic or cystic lesions in both or one breast, or an increase in estrogen levels in the body. 5. Nipple discharge. There are many reasons for nipple discharge, in addition to breast hyperplasia, there are also breast tuberculosis, mastitis, breast cancer, etc. Some female endocrine disorders can also cause nipple discharge. These diseases, both benign and malignant, require prompt examination. 6. Small pits. The appearance of "dimples" in the breasts is a sign of involvement of the suspensory ligaments of the breasts. Chronic breast inflammation, fat necrosis, subcutaneous thrombophlebitis of the breast and postoperative scar contracture may all cause skin depression. 7. Deep nodules. If you feel a lump in your breast that is firm, smooth, but grows slowly and has no other sensation, it may be an adenoma. 8.Veins are visible. Because superficial veins are located superficially and close to the skin, they may become varicose during pregnancy and when breast lesions progress rapidly, such as breast sarcoma. 9. Lump. Slow-growing and painful lumps are mostly benign hyperplasia or inflammation; rapidly growing lumps with unclear boundaries need to be examined as soon as possible. 10. Inverted nipple. There are several reasons for inverted nipples: wearing too tight clothing, especially tight underwear for women during breast development; improper use of bras, which are too small, too tight, or used too early; and genetic factors. |
