Especially for young female friends, the problem of back pain before and after menstruation is also very serious. Therefore, many friends are worried about whether backache is related to gynecological diseases? How should it be treated?

In fact, the causes of low back pain are very diverse, and if you have long-term low back pain, you should seek medical attention in time, because it can indeed cause many gynecological diseases and other chronic diseases. Next, I will introduce to you the question of whether low back pain is related to gynecological diseases.

Is backache related to gynecological diseases?

As the weather gets colder, some old injuries may flare up. Low back pain is one of the more common symptoms. Experts say that low back pain can be caused by a variety of factors. For women, menstrual disorders, leucorrhea, pregnancy diseases, gynecological diseases and sequelae of contraceptive surgery can all induce low back pain. Therefore, when women experience pain symptoms, they must not just focus on the waist, because low back pain may be caused by some gynecological diseases. Common gynecological diseases that can cause low back pain include:

1. Cervicitis

When the cervix becomes inflamed, symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge, local itching, and tingling will appear. At the same time, the stimulation of inflammation will also cause lower back pain.

2. Abnormal uterine position

The normal position of the uterus is forward bending and flexion. If the uterus flexes backward and the position changes abnormally, the ligaments supporting the uterus in the body will be over-pulled, and some nerves will be compressed, which can cause low back pain.

3. Uterine prolapse

The uterus shifts downward along the vagina. Due to the weakness and reduced tension of the pelvic supporting tissue, the abdominal pressure increases, causing a feeling of falling and lower back pain due to traction.

4. Pelvic inflammatory disease

Women suffering from pelvic tissue inflammation such as chronic adnexitis, pelvic peritonitis, uterosacral ligament or connective tissue inflammation, etc., the inflammatory stimulation of these diseases can cause low back pain.

5. Pelvic tumor

If there is a tumor in the pelvic cavity, such as uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, ovarian cysts, etc., which compresses the nerves or cancer cells infiltrate the pelvic connective tissue, low back pain may occur, and the pain will intensify as the tumor grows.

6. Pregnant women

After pregnancy, as the fetus grows bigger month by month, the support force of the waist continues to increase. Long-term mechanical action will cause the ligaments to gradually relax. The expanded uterine cavity will compress the pelvic nerves and blood vessels, which can also cause low back pain.

7. Fertility factors

If a woman gives birth to too many children, has too many abortions, or has excessive and uncontrolled sexual intercourse, it may cause kidney deficiency, which in turn may induce low back pain.

Regarding the relationship between low back pain and gynecological diseases, gynecological experts told us that low back pain is indeed closely related to many gynecological diseases, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis and other diseases. Therefore, low back pain cannot only focus on the waist, but also needs to go to a regular hospital for examination and medical treatment in time, so as to better discover and find out the cause of the low back pain.
