Can pregnant women use hair dryers?

Modern people pay much attention to their appearance. Every time before going out, they will make themselves clean and beautiful. Hair is the highlight of their appearance. Sometimes they blow their hair into big waves, sometimes they blow their hair straight. Hairdrying is inseparable from a hair dryer. Hair dryers are inexpensive and easy to use. If you have a hair dryer at home, you basically don't need to spend time going to the barber shop, you can do your own hair shaping.

Pregnancy is a major event in a woman's life. It is every mother's dream to have a healthy fetus. Pregnant women should have a balanced diet, proper exercise, and pay attention to many details of life in their daily lives to stay healthy. Can pregnant women use a hair dryer?

After years of follow-up research by relevant experts, it was found that in the early stages of pregnancy, especially within the first month of pregnancy, it is not good for the health of the fetus and the mother herself to use a hair dryer to dry her hair. The hot air from a hair dryer contains asbestos fiber particles that can cause teratogenicity. After these asbestos fiber particles are absorbed into the blood through the pregnant mother's respiratory tract and skin, they will enter the fetus's body through the blood circulation and placenta, causing fetal malformations. Generally, you should not use a hair dryer to blow dry your hair during the entire pregnancy, because the power of a hair dryer is much higher than that of ordinary household appliances, generally 1000W~1500W. High radiation is naturally not good for you and your baby. You can do this: reduce the number of times you wash your hair. As the weather gradually gets colder, the pores on the head shrink and you are prone to colds. Pregnant women should prepare a dry towel at home (bigger and keep it clean). Every time you wash your hair, gently press the scalp with the towel to absorb more moisture. It is okay to wet the ends of your hair. Just rub your scalp more. Don't go out if your hair is not completely dry.

In fact, in the 1960s and 1970s, when there were no hair dryers, people still made their hair beautiful. They tied their hair into two ponytails and used a burned iron rod to curl the bangs in front, which looked pure and beautiful. For the sake of the health of the fetus and themselves, pregnant women are advised not to use hair dryers. Nothing is more important than health.
