As of March 2020, the scale of instant messaging users in my country reached 896 million, an increase of 104 million from the end of 2018, accounting for 99.2% of the total Internet users; the scale of mobile instant messaging users reached 890 million, an increase of 110 million from the end of 2018, accounting for 99.2% of mobile Internet users.

Data shows that in 2019, the number of daily active users of mini-programs exceeded 300 million, the average number of visits to mini-programs increased by 45%, and the average number of mini-programs used increased by 98%.

In terms of enterprise users, instant messaging applications have begun to become a powerful assistant for enterprise information transformation. Relying on technologies such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence, the role of instant messaging in the fields of daily enterprise operation management, data information exchange and sharing, and team remote collaborative office is becoming increasingly prominent, thereby helping enterprises improve operational quality and efficiency and enabling the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. First, in the daily operation management of enterprises, instant messaging provides offline retail industries with functions such as store personnel deployment, customer membership management, and inventory information reminders, helping enterprises to achieve information-based and intelligent operations of offline retail outlets. Second, in the exchange and sharing of data information, enterprise instant messaging develops information flow and communication platforms for medical industry institutions, realizes information exchange between departments and hospitals, and connects doctors, patients and equipment in the medical process, thereby promoting the full flow of medical information and data, and improving patient treatment efficiency and cure rate. Third, in team remote collaborative office, instant messaging provides enterprises with cloud-based multi-person audio and video conferencing, shared document editing, remote project collaborative management and other functions, helping enterprises to achieve real-time collaboration and ensure efficient and stable operation of organizations.
