Premenstrual signs and early pregnancy discharge

Premenstrual signs and early pregnancy discharge

Once a woman's menstruation is delayed, she will doubt whether she is pregnant. In fact, many women find that there are some normal signs before menstruation during pregnancy. When this happens, pregnant mothers will worry whether they are pregnant with a deformed baby or have some health problems, which will cause negative emotions during the pregnancy process and affect the development of the fetus. So, what is the difference between the signs of menstruation and secretions in early pregnancy?

1. Vaginal mucosal discoloration:

Pregnancy: In early pregnancy, the vaginal mucosa may appear darker in tone due to hematoma.

Menstrual period: A woman's vaginal mucosa maintains a lighter tone during her menstrual period or before pregnancy.

2. Appetite:

Pregnancy: Almost all pregnant women experience nausea, vomiting and other symptoms in the early stages of pregnancy. Some symptoms are mild, while others are so severe that they cannot work and live normally and can only stay in bed.

Menstrual period: However, the premenstrual period is just the beginning of the period, and the appetite will increase. Many people prefer to eat spicy food, and eat a lot, and feel a sense of accomplishment after eating. However, there are also a very small number of people who have poor appetite before menstruation, which needs to be distinguished from their previous health conditions.

3. Absence of menstruation:

Pregnancy: Women of normal childbearing age with normal menstrual cycles are likely to become pregnant if their periods are generally delayed by 1-2 weeks.

Menstrual period: Missing menstruation does not mean that you are pregnant. It may be that the menstrual cycle itself is irregular, or there is too much pressure from work and life recently, causing delayed menstruation. If the delay is too long, you can go to the hospital for diagnosis.

4. Always want to sleep:

Pregnancy: In the early stages of pregnancy, you may feel very tired and often sleepy. Feeling like you’re not getting enough sleep.

Menstrual period: Although you may feel sleepy during menstruation, it usually goes away in 1-2 days. Moreover, most of the sleepiness is caused by menstrual cramps.
