Menstruation regulating points are mostly distributed on the abdomen, back and lower limbs. On the abdomen, there are Daimai acupoint and Weidao acupoint of the Gallbladder Meridian of Foot Shaoyang, Guilai acupoint of the Stomach Meridian of Foot Yangming, Chongmen acupoint of the Spleen Meridian of Foot Taiyin, Zhongzhu acupoint, Simian acupoint and Qi acupoint of the Kidney Meridian of Foot Shaoyin, as well as extra meridian acupoints such as Jingzhong acupoint, Jueyun acupoint, Qimen acupoint, Weibao acupoint and Gongzi acupoint; on the back, there are Shangliao acupoint, Ciliao acupoint, Zhongliao acupoint, Xialiao acupoint and Baihuanshu acupoint of the Bladder Meridian of Foot Taiyang; on the lower limbs, there are Yinlian acupoint, Yinbao acupoint, Ququan acupoint and Ligou acupoint of the Liver Meridian of Foot Jueyin, Yingu acupoint, Jiaoxin acupoint, Shuiquan acupoint and Duyin acupoint and Yingchi acupoint of the Kidney Meridian of Foot Shaoyin.

Things to note when your period is delayed

1. Be in a good mood, avoid mental stimulation and mood swings. Some people may experience lower abdominal distension, back pain, breast pain, mild diarrhea, fatigue, drowsiness, emotional instability, irritability or depression during menstruation. These are all normal and there is no need to be overly nervous.

2. It is advisable to eat raw, cold, sour, spicy and other stimulating foods, drink more boiled water, and keep the bowel movements smooth. People with hot blood should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables before menstruation, and avoid eating things that stimulate fire such as onions, garlic, leeks, and ginger. People with qi and blood deficiency must increase their nutrition in daily life, such as milk, eggs, soy milk, pork liver, spinach, pork, chicken, lamb, etc., and avoid eating raw and cold fruits and vegetables.

3. Keep warm and avoid cold stimulation. Avoid overwork. People with heavy menstrual bleeding should avoid eating brown sugar. Regular consumption of fruits during menstruation can prevent and treat constipation and avoid pelvic congestion. However, some fruits with cold properties should not be consumed during menstruation.

4. Hygiene and infection prevention. Pay attention to the hygiene of the external genitalia.

5. It should be soft, made of cotton, and have good ventilation and air permeability. It should be washed and changed frequently, and the changed underwear should be dried in the sun.
