Black discharge during non-menstrual period

Black discharge during non-menstrual period

Women have blood discharge during their menstrual period. Of course, some women also experience this situation during their non-menstrual period. The appearance of black discharge during the non-menstrual period is most likely caused by ovulation bleeding, which is relatively normal. In addition, diseases such as infection, cervicitis and tumors can also cause this symptom. Below, we will introduce to you the common reasons for black discharge during non-menstrual period!

1. Ovulation bleeding

Brown vaginal discharge during ovulation is usually related to ovulation bleeding. Women with this phenomenon do not need to worry, as it will disappear in two or three days. However, we should also pay attention to other gynecological diseases. For example, if the bleeding during ovulation lasts too long and has not recovered, we should consider the relationship between cervical erosion, uterine polyps, cervical cancer and other cervical diseases.

2. Infection

If women do not pay attention to menstrual hygiene and use contaminated sanitary products, it is very easy to cause pathogen infection, leading to the occurrence of brown vaginal discharge. Common infections include trichomoniasis, mold infection, bacterial infection, fungal infection, etc. Many infections can cause inflammation in women, such as vulvitis and vaginitis. When treating inflammation caused by various bacterial factors, it is important to treat both husband and wife together to prevent cross infection.

3. Cervicitis

The trauma of childbirth, changes in sex hormones, or inflammation of the cervix caused by sexual intercourse may lead to cervical erosion and increase the amount of brown vaginal discharge. Common is chronic cervicitis, such as cervical erosion. Cervical erosion is the most common cervicitis in women, so it is the first factor to consider. However, cervical erosion can be treated. Currently, physical therapy is very effective for various degrees of cervical erosion, and physical therapy can be said to be the best treatment method.

4. Tumor

If a woman suffers from reproductive tumors such as uterine fibroids, ovarian tumors or uterine cancer, it may also cause symptoms of non-menstrual bleeding. If it is in the early stage of the tumor, the amount of bleeding is small, usually mixed in the leucorrhea, or occurs after sexual intercourse. However, if it is in the late stage of the tumor, the amount of bleeding will be larger. Therefore, if female compatriots find themselves experiencing non-menstrual bleeding, they must seek medical attention in time to eliminate potential disease risks.
