Article 7 of the Regulations on Labor Protection for Female Employees stipulates: "During the period of pregnancy, the employer shall not assign female workers with the third-level labor efficiency stipulated by the state and workers who are not allowed to work during pregnancy, and shall not increase their working hours beyond the normal working day; those who cannot perform the original work shall be given a reduction in workload or assigned to other jobs based on the confirmation of the medical unit. Female workers who are pregnant for more than seven months (including seven months) generally cannot be assigned to work the night shift; a certain number of rest days should be assigned during the working hours."

Maternity leave time

Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Regulations on Labor Protection for Female Employees stipulates: "Maternity leave for female employees is 98 days, including 15 days of prenatal leave. Pregnant women with dystocia will receive an additional 15 days of maternity leave. For twin pregnancies, the maternity leave will be increased by 15 days for each additional baby."
