Cervical polyps for 10 years

Cervical polyps for 10 years

Cervical polyps are difficult to treat for 10 years. This disease has existed for a relatively long time and patients need to receive treatment according to the doctor's advice. Women with cervical polyps need to undergo regular checkups for 10 years, and the polyps may grow again, so patients can undergo curettage to clean the polyps. In addition, to avoid post-operative infection, patients need to take antibiotics and other drugs to suppress the disease.

To cure cervical polyps, it is necessary to choose appropriate treatment methods according to the patient's condition. For example, different treatment methods should be adopted according to the patient's age, the location and size of the disease, etc. to effectively treat the disease. After being cured, gynecological examinations should be performed regularly to prevent cervical polyps from growing again.

If the patient has small localized cervical polyps, a curettage surgery can be performed. This surgery requires comprehensive scraping to better prevent the recurrence of cervical polyps. In addition, anti-infection treatment should be carried out after the surgery, and some antibiotics should be taken or intravenous drips should be given at the same time.

After being discharged from the hospital, you must keep your private parts clean and hygienic. However, sometimes there will be yellow discharge and bleeding in the private parts, which is normal and there is no need to worry. In addition, it is best to maintain a normal and healthy life within a few months to avoid other problems in your body.

Generally, if you want to completely eliminate the possibility of this disease, it is best to undergo surgery to remove the uterus, but most women will not do this. After all, without a uterus, you cannot have children, and you are not considered a complete woman.

Cervical polyps may occur for the following reasons:

1. Inflammatory factors. We all know that cervical polyps are mostly caused by long-term stimulation of chronic inflammation. Because of long-term inflammatory stimulation, the cervical mucosa proliferates excessively, and the uterus has a tendency to expel foreign bodies, the proliferating mucosa gradually protrudes from the base to the external os of the cervix to form polyps.

2. Endocrine disorders. This is related to high estrogen levels.

3. Infection by pathogens. The infection is usually caused by infection during childbirth, miscarriage, or damage to the cervix due to surgery or sexual intercourse, which allows pathogens to invade and cause infection.

What are the symptoms of cervical polyps?

1. Abnormal leucorrhea

Leucorrhea can often reflect women's health. If a woman finds that her leucorrhea turns yellow and has an unpleasant odor, and in severe cases may even contain blood, then she should consider whether she has cervical polyps.

2. Vaginal bleeding

Women with cervical polyps will experience vaginal bleeding. The blood is bright red. It may occur during sexual intercourse, after menopause, or under normal circumstances.

3. Tumors in the uterine cavity or vaginal opening

This is the most easily detected abnormality. The tumor mainly appears in the uterine cavity. It is relatively small in size, but it appears as a flaky tumor, gray-red and shiny.

The above are the symptoms of cervical polyps. If female friends find themselves having these symptoms, it is best to go to the hospital for an examination to screen for cervical polyps, so that they can also pay attention to their own health.
