The benefits of a woman's vagina

The body structure of women is very different from that of men, especially in the reproductive system. For women, if the private parts below are bulging, it means that the private parts are fuller and the raised area is more obvious. This area is called the mons pubis. For women, they should strengthen the care of their private parts in daily life. Let us learn about this aspect.

1. Why are women's vaginas bulging?

That is called the mons pubis, which is the part of the vulva that raises in front of the pubic symphysis, and is composed of skin and a very thick layer of fat. The labia majora are located on both sides of the mons pubis. During puberty, pubic hair begins to grow on the skin of the mons pubis, and its distribution is in the shape of a triangle with the tip pointing downward. The abundant fat tissue under the skin of the mons pubis and the pubic hair on the skin provide support and shock absorption during sexual intercourse. Depending on individual bone structure, some women's bulges will be higher, while others will be lower! But this is all normal.

2. What is pubic symphysis height?

Symphysis pubis height/symphysis pubis superior edge height: the vertical distance from the symphysis pubis point (sy) to the ground.

3. Pubic symphysis point measurement method

Symphysion pubis (sy): the intersection of the upper edge of the pubic symphysis and the midsagittal plane. The measurer stands on the right side of the person being measured, presses his left hand on the lower abdomen of the person being measured, and then slowly moves his thumb downward to find the upper edge of the pubic symphysis; if the person's abdominal muscles are tense and difficult to find, the person can be asked to bend forward to reduce the tension of the abdominal muscles, which will help find this measuring point.

4. What to do if you have symphysis pubis pain during pregnancy

You can use an elastic band with a width of 2.5cm-3.0cm to constrain the pelvis to increase the pelvic load-bearing capacity, but the upper edge of the band must not be higher than the pubic symphysis to avoid compressing the abdomen and affecting fetal growth and development. The tightness of the band should be based on what the pelvis can withstand while not seriously affecting the venous return of the lower limbs. Wear it when standing and working during the day, and relax it at night and when lying in bed. At the same time, raise your lower limbs to facilitate venous return, reduce squatting and weight-bearing work, and reduce the time of standing and walking. When resting in bed, lie on your side mainly.
