Light bleeding a few days before your period

Light bleeding a few days before your period

Irregular vaginal bleeding is a problem that all women are concerned about. In addition to vaginal bleeding caused by menstruation, vaginal bleeding that occurs at other times should be considered whether it is caused by a certain disease. Before menstruation, women will have many abnormal conditions, such as abnormal vaginal discharge or breast pain. But if you notice a small amount of vaginal bleeding before your period, what is the cause?

Analysis of the causes of bleeding before menstruation

1. Imbalance in sex hormone secretion causes large fluctuations in hormone levels during ovulation, resulting in obvious bleeding.

2. Chronic inflammation of the endometrium or inflammatory thickening of the ovarian surface causes obvious congestion of the endometrium during ovulation, and bleeding is not easy to stop on its own, or the inflammatory thickened follicle surface ruptures and bleeds more than normal, and flows back into the uterine cavity with the peristalsis of the fallopian tube and is discharged from the body through the vagina.

What are the symptoms of irregular menstruation

1. Irregular uterine bleeding. Includes: heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding. It is common in uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, endometriosis, etc.

2. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding: refers to abnormal uterine bleeding caused by endocrine regulation system disorders without obvious organic lesions in the internal and external genitalia. It is the most common type of menstrual disorder and is common in adolescence and menopause. It is divided into two categories: ovulatory and anovulatory, and about 85% of cases are anovulatory functional uterine bleeding.

3. Amenorrhea: It is a common symptom of gynecological diseases and can be caused by various reasons. Amenorrhea is usually divided into primary and secondary types. Those who have not had menstruation after the age of 18 are called primary amenorrhea; those who have no menstruation for more than 6 months at any time after menarche and before normal menopause (except pregnancy or lactation) are called secondary amenorrhea.

How should women regulate menstruation?

1. Diet adjustment

Girls should not deliberately diet or eat too much after their menarche. Instead, they should pay attention to eating more foods that promote the growth of red blood cells and enhance immunity, such as animal liver, bone soup, lean meat, kelp, dried shrimps, green leafy vegetables, etc., to replenish the loss of red blood cells in the body in a timely manner and enhance hematopoietic function.

2. Live a regular life

It is necessary to develop regular work and rest habits, not staying up late, not sleeping in, not smoking, drinking, overeating, dressing appropriately, and develop the habit of washing the vulva with warm water before going to bed every night, especially paying attention to menstrual hygiene.

3. Choose the right exercise

Choose aerobic exercises that suit your physical condition, such as walking, jogging, dancing, climbing, playing ball, etc. Swimming should be avoided during menstruation to prevent bacteria from invading and causing infection when the self-cleaning function of the reproductive organs is reduced. Strengthen your physical fitness and regulate your endocrine balance through exercise.
