How to treat fallopian tube thickening

How to treat fallopian tube thickening

If there is hydrops and adhesions in the fallopian tube, it is particularly easy to cause pus in the fallopian tube. Therefore, the pus accumulated in the fallopian tube must be cleared at this time, and some anti-inflammatory drugs need to be taken. In addition, the patient may often feel pain in the lower abdomen. Of course, its ovulation function will also be affected. It is not recommended for patients to get pregnant during this period. So how to treat the accumulation of hydrops in the fallopian tube?

1. Western medicine treatment: The usual methods for hydrosalpinx, fluid accumulation and pus accumulation in the fallopian tube are surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment.

1. Non-surgical treatment: Get adequate rest, reduce sexual intercourse, and thoroughly treat cervicitis, inflammation of the vulva, vagina, and urethral glands, especially cervical erosion, which may cause repeated infection of the appendages and the possibility of acute attacks. In addition, the following methods are available:

(1) Antibiotic treatment should be applied locally, either by lateral fornix closure or intrauterine injection. Antibiotic lateral fornix closure: once a day or every other day depending on the condition, 7 to 8 times as a course of treatment. If necessary, the injection can be repeated after the next menstruation. Generally, 3 to 4 courses of treatment are required. Dexamethasone or prednisolone can also be added and injected at the same time; Intrauterine injection of antibiotics into the fallopian tube: The operation is the same as the fallopian tube perfusion method, or a double-lumen rubber catheter is inserted into the uterine cavity, and the injection volume is gradually increased according to the size of the uterine cavity and the degree of fallopian tube occlusion.

(2) Physical therapy: It can promote blood circulation and help dissipate inflammation. Commonly used methods include ultrashort wave, diathermy, infrared irradiation, etc.

2. Surgical treatment

(1) Tubal pyosalpinx or tubo-ovarian abscess often presents with acute onset, so surgical removal of the lesion is recommended. Generally, surgery can be performed after the inflammation has been controlled with medication for several days, regardless of whether the body temperature has returned to normal. After the lesion is removed, the remaining inflammatory lesions are easy to control and the patient recovers faster.

(2) Chronic inflammatory masses and other chronic inflammatory lesions of the fallopian tubes are not effectively treated with non-surgical treatments. The clinical symptoms are severe and seriously affect the patient's life and work. Patients over 40 years old can be given surgical treatment. Antibiotics are administered before and after surgery. Generally, the drug is given 3 days before surgery and 5 to 7 days after surgery, depending on the specific situation. The surgery should be thorough, with total hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy offering the best prognosis. Preserving part of the ovary or uterus may lead to recurrence of inflammation. Therefore, non-surgical treatment should be considered for young patients as much as possible. Once the decision to undergo surgery is made, it should be thorough, otherwise the prognosis will be poor. For young mothers who are eager to have children and whose fallopian tubes are blocked but no mass has formed, fallopian tube recanalization surgery should be considered.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Hydrosalpinx, Fluid and Pus in the Fallopian Tube:

Abnormal leucorrhea is a barometer of gynecological diseases. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of hydrosalpinx is designed to treat excessive leucorrhea. The clinical manifestation is excessive leucorrhea. However, I can also understand through Western medicine examinations that the patient is infected with gonorrhea, mycoplasma, chlamydia, fungus (Candida), Staphylococcus aureus, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, etc., and hydrosalpinx, etc.

1. Heat-clearing and detoxifying drugs can kill various bacteria and viruses. Heat-clearing and detoxifying drugs can help absorb hydrosalpinx and unclog the fallopian tubes to treat infertility.

2. Strengthen the blood circulation and blood stasis removal, softening and swelling-removing drugs to eliminate adhesions caused by inflammation;

3. Diuretic drugs can eliminate stagnant water and achieve the purpose of treating hydrosalpinx, fluid accumulation and pus accumulation in the fallopian tube.

3. Clinical application:

1. As long as female infertility patients are diagnosed with hydrosalpinx through examination, they do not need to undergo hydrosalpinx, hysterosalpingography, or laparoscopic surgery. Chinese medicine treatment can quickly absorb and eliminate the accumulated water, thereby unblocking the fallopian tubes and treating female infertility.

2. If the patient has undergone hydrotubation, angiography, and successful laparoscopic surgery, and then develops hydrops, adhesions, and blockages that cause infertility again, receiving Chinese medicine treatment can eliminate the hydrops, adhesions, unclog the fallopian tubes, and treat female infertility.
