Will I have back pain in the first month of pregnancy?

Generally, there are no obvious changes in women's bodies during the first month of pregnancy, so women in the first month of pregnancy usually find out that they are pregnant through some medical means. Even in the first month of pregnancy, there are some abnormal changes in the body, but most pregnant women do not notice it. So for women in the first month of pregnancy, will they experience back pain?

One month pregnant, I suddenly have back pain

Due to changes in hormone secretion in the human body during pregnancy, in order for the baby to pass smoothly through the birth canal during delivery, the human body secretes a hormone that can relax the ligaments connecting the pelvis. This hormone also relaxes the muscles and increases the curvature of the spine. Therefore, it is normal to have a little back pain. Moreover, it may be caused by ectopic pregnancy. If there is slight distension and discomfort and no vaginal bleeding, it is okay. If there is vaginal bleeding or severe pain, you need to go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination to see if it is an ectopic pregnancy. If it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, regular check-ups, and no problems, you do not need to worry too much about back pain.

How to relieve back pain

Pay more attention to rest, exercise appropriately, do not lift heavy objects or bend over, etc. At the same time, pay attention to nutrition and correct posture. Sleep on your left side and put a pillow behind your back, which will make you more comfortable. You can lie flat on your back and have your family member gently massage your sore muscles. When muscles become tense, lactic acid accumulates locally, causing pain. You can use a towel for hot compress. Simple hot compress and gentle massage can promote blood circulation in the muscles, enhance muscle nutrition and relieve pain.

After pregnancy, the expectant mother's body hormones will undergo certain changes, and many different changes in the body are also affected by hormonal changes. Expectant mothers need to rest well during pregnancy, go to the hospital for regular check-ups, and have a good attitude to better welcome the arrival of the baby.
