Women's lower body usually has two normal physiological reactions: leucorrhea and menstruation. The leucorrhea of a normal and healthy woman is usually a milky white sticky substance, colorless and odorless, and the secretion volume is normal. When a woman's vagina has an odor, she should consider whether it is caused by gynecological diseases and go to the hospital for examination in time. So what should I do if I go to the hospital for a leucorrhea examination and find that there is no inflammation? 1. Cervical smear test Cervical hypertrophy is traditionally screened for cervical disease using cervical smears, but cervical smears are limited by many objective conditions, and the false positive rate of a single smear is high. Therefore, if cervical smear is used alone to screen for cervical disease, the diagnosis can only be confirmed if the test results are negative for more than 3 consecutive times. However, if an experienced doctor performs a colposcopy, the reliability of a single examination is over 95%. 2. Colposcopy A colposcope is a magnifying glass equipped with a powerful light source. Since it can magnify the lesions 10 to 40 times, it can observe minor lesions on the cervical epidermis that are invisible to the naked eye. With the aid of 3% to 5% acetic acid solution, it can distinguish whether the changes in cervical cells are benign or malignant. Biopsy under colposcope guidance can increase the positive detection rate and assist clinical early detection of precancerous and cancerous changes. If cytological analysis is used, combined with colposcopy and endoscopic biopsy, the diagnostic accuracy of precancerous lesions and early invasive cancer will be greatly improved. Therefore, the combined examination of cervical smear and colposcopy can increase the probability of diagnosis and is an important measure for the early treatment of cervical diseases and other reproductive tract diseases. 3. Liquid-based cytology (TCT) test The screening cancer test can distinguish a large number of surface exfoliated cells through TCT to see whether there are bad cells or even malignant cells. It is a very important cervical cancer screening test for married women. TCT is a cervical cytology test method using a liquid-based cytometer produced in the United States. With traditional cervical smears or scrapings, only a very small number of cells are smeared on the glass slide for examination, and more than 80% of the cells will be discarded, not only many cells are missed, but also many components that hinder microscopic observation (such as mucus, impurities, blood cells, etc.) are left, so the positive detection rate is quite low; while the liquid-based cytometer uses complete cell preservation technology and high-precision filter membrane cell collection technology, which can collect almost 100% of the cell components in the clinical specimens, so that the examined cell layer is thinly and evenly coated on the glass slide, greatly improving the positive detection rate of the specimens. TCT detection technology can detect more precancerous lesions and better achieve the goal of "early detection, early diagnosis, and early treatment." |
