Ovarian pain in early pregnancy

Ovarian pain in early pregnancy

In the early stages of pregnancy, because the early pregnancy reaction is more intense, pregnant women often feel dull pain in the lower abdomen. This situation is generally caused by the uterus, and sometimes it can make pregnant women in the early stages of pregnancy feel very uncomfortable. If the condition is particularly serious, you should go to the hospital for examination in time to understand the specific cause. If there is abnormal ovarian function, pain may also occur.

Will my ovaries hurt during early pregnancy?

The general reaction of early pregnancy is lower abdominal pain, but it is only a dull pain that comes and goes and is tolerable. This is because the pain is caused by the growth of the uterus during pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is very painful and lasts for a long time, which is unbearable and accompanied by bleeding. If you don't have these symptoms, there's no need to worry too much.

Women will experience pregnancy symptoms around six weeks of pregnancy, such as delayed menstruation, continued increase in basal body temperature, nausea and vomiting, frequent urination, breast and skin changes, etc. These early pregnancy symptoms usually last until three months of pregnancy. But not everyone will experience a reaction in early pregnancy. If a woman suspects that she is pregnant, she can use pregnancy test sticks, pregnancy test paper and other tools to self-test. It is best to go to the hospital for examination as the results will be more accurate.

It should be clear that the pregnancy reactions of different people vary greatly, and it is unscientific to determine whether you are pregnant solely based on the symptoms that appear in the early stages of pregnancy. The above physical changes in women are likely caused by factors such as illness, changes in the internal environment of the body, and do not necessarily mean that they are pregnant. Women must go to the hospital for HCG urine test or HCG blood test, B-ultrasound and other examinations, so that they can accurately determine whether they are pregnant and make correct treatment.

What are the symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Stopping of menstruation

If a couple has sexual intercourse around the ovulation period without taking any contraceptive measures, and their menstrual cycles are normal, but they suddenly experience amenorrhea symptoms for more than 5 days, they may be pregnant.

2. Nausea and vomiting

Many pregnant women will experience morning sickness starting around the 5th week of pregnancy. Nausea may occur especially in the morning and evening, and vomiting may occur without any reason. The cause of morning sickness is currently unknown, but data suggest that it may be related to human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in the human body. When you first become pregnant, the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in your body begins to increase. The higher the level of this hormone, the more likely you are to feel nauseous.

3. Breast enlargement and tenderness

In the first week or two after conception, your breasts will become larger and softer. Due to the stimulation of pregnancy, the pregnant woman's body will produce a lot of estrogen and progesterone, causing the glands in the breasts to begin to grow, so the breasts will become larger. These hormones also cause the breasts to retain more fluid, so they may become sore and tender.

4. Increased leucorrhea

After pregnancy, the estrogen in the body gradually increases as the pregnancy months increase. Estrogen can promote the secretion of mucus by the cervix and endometrial glands. The blood flow to the genitals, vagina, and cervix of pregnant women is vigorous, and the tissue water increases, so the secretions also increase, and the amount of leucorrhea also increases accordingly.

5. Mild vaginal bleeding

The fertilized egg will implant in the uterus within 6-12 days after conception, which may cause slight vaginal bleeding in pregnant women. If this happens, pregnant women do not need to worry if the vaginal bleeding is mild and there are no serious discomfort symptoms. This is a normal physiological reaction when the fertilized egg implants and is harmless to the human body. Implantation bleeding of the fertilized egg manifests as a small amount of blood or blood spots, which can be seen several times a day. The bleeding lasts for about three days, and there is no discomfort during menstruation. Implantation bleeding of the fertilized egg needs to be distinguished from menstruation to prevent pregnant women from being pregnant without knowing it.

6. Loss of appetite

Loss of appetite may begin as early as 2 weeks after conception. Because the secretion of flavonoids will reduce the functions of many body systems and affect the digestive system, it may sometimes cause constipation and indigestion.
