Can I still get pregnant if my ovarian follicle ruptures?

In fact, you don’t need to worry about follicle rupture. Follicles are very important to our human body. They affect many things, including women’s fertility. Some abnormalities in the eggs may lead to infertility in women. The fertilized egg cannot combine with the sperm. Some people say that you can’t get pregnant if the follicle ruptures. So, can you still get pregnant if the follicle ruptures?

Usually, ovulation occurs when an ovarian follicle ruptures, and pregnancy is most likely to occur if you have sex within 24 hours after the follicle ruptures. Generally, its survival time is 1 to 2 days after being discharged from the ovary. If it combines with sperm within 1 to 2 days, pregnancy can occur. Women will experience pregnancy symptoms around six weeks of pregnancy, such as delayed menstruation, continued increase in basal body temperature, nausea and vomiting, frequent urination, breast and skin changes, etc. These early pregnancy symptoms usually last until three months of pregnancy, but not everyone will react in the early stages of pregnancy.

There is still a chance of conception even if the follicle ruptures. Ovulation only takes one day, and the fertilization ability is highest within 24 hours after ovulation. If you are considering the possibility of pregnancy, you can go to the hospital for a blood test HCG test to determine whether you are pregnant. The test is highly accurate and can be performed one week after sexual intercourse. The test strip test will only be accurate 14 days after sexual intercourse, and it is best to use the first morning urine test. For now, take more rest and relax.

Follicle rupture refers to ovulation, which is the process by which the egg cell and the surrounding cumulus granules are discharged. The ovaries of normal women of childbearing age release a mature egg every month. After the egg is released, it enters the fallopian tube and can generally survive for 1-2 days. The sperm produced by men is continuous. Sperm usually remains active in the female reproductive tract for 2-3 days, and its ability to conceive is between 48 hours. If a woman has sexual intercourse within a certain period of time before or after ovulation, she may become pregnant. This period of time is called the "ovulation period". It is very important to grasp this period. On the one hand, it can give couples who have become infertile due to missing the woman's ovulation period and having sex a great chance of conceiving.

Before and after menstruation, mucus is often thick and less in quantity, or even absent. In the middle of the menstrual cycle, the mucus will become thinner and more abundant. The closer to ovulation, the clearer and more transparent it becomes, resembling egg white, and is elastic, with the highest degree of silkiness and the smoothest feeling. The last day of this mucus is called the "peak day," and ovulation occurs 48 hours before and after it. Therefore, it is easy to get pregnant if you have sex during the "wet period" before ovulation until 3 days after the peak day.
