The dangers of using a pelvic belt after childbirth

Around us, there are many pregnant women who use their lives to bring happiness and joy to the whole family. Not only do they endure pain that no one else can bear, but pregnancy is also a very meaningful thing. However, being pregnant during the certification period may cause certain harm to our bodies. For example, when he is born, the pregnant woman has to relax the ligaments of the pelvis. Only if it is opened like this can he come out smoothly. Therefore, the pregnant woman's body will suffer certain harm during childbirth. So, let’s take a look at the dangers of using a pelvic belt after childbirth!

1. Correct use of pelvic correction belt

Women who have given birth naturally can use a pelvic correction belt to correct pelvic deformation 2 to 3 days after delivery. Women who have had a cesarean section have to wait until the wound heals before using a pelvic correction belt, which is usually seven days after the operation. When using the pelvic correction belt, do not tighten it too much. It should be moderately tight.

The pelvic correction belt cannot be worn all the time. It should only be worn during the day, and should not be worn for more than eight hours a day. You need to take it off when you go to bed at night to let your body return to a relaxed position. And when wearing it, you must pay attention to the wearing position, mainly covering the pubic symphysis.

2. Choose a suitable pelvic correction belt

There are many varieties of pelvic correction belts, and the quality is not the same. Some are made of very rough materials and have poor elasticity. Therefore, when choosing a pelvic correction belt, mothers should not be greedy and buy low-quality products, because such products cannot achieve the expected results, and will feel very uncomfortable when wearing them.

3. How long should the pelvic correction belt be used?

Wearing it for about eight hours a day is enough to improve the deformation of the pelvis, but you must pay attention to using it every day. If you don’t use it today and not tomorrow, it will be difficult to see the effect. And you can't use it all the time without taking it off at night, as this is not good for your body. So as long as you keep using it during the day, you can take it off at night and sleep relaxedly.
