Polycystic ovarian follicles

Polycystic ovarian follicles

Polycystic ovary syndrome is a very common disease in daily life. It not only causes great harm to the patient's physical health, but also seriously affects their normal life and work. People need to seek medical treatment in time when they find related symptoms and choose appropriate treatment methods according to their physical condition to recover health as soon as possible.

1 Suggestion: Polycystic follicles are polycystic ovary syndrome. The exact cause of polycystic ovary syndrome is unknown. It is currently believed that the ovaries produce too much androgen, and the excessive production of androgen is the result of the synergistic effect of multiple endocrine system dysfunctions in the body. Menstrual disorders, amenorrhea, anovulation, hirsutism, obesity, infertility and bilateral ovarian enlargement with cystic changes are called polycystic ovary syndrome. Patients may have the above typical symptoms or only some of them. However, infertility due to ovulation disorders is the main clinical manifestation of polycystic ovary syndrome.

Treatment of PCOS:

2 General treatment. Patients should actively exercise, reduce the intake of high-fat and high-sugar foods, and lose weight. This can reduce androgen levels and help restore ovulation.

Drug treatment. Drug treatment can counteract the effects of androgens and promote ovarian ovulation. The drugs used are mainly oral contraceptives, which can also adjust the menstrual cycle. Generally, it is taken for about 3-6 months, and the medication can be stopped after the hormone level is tested to be normal.

3. Laparoscopic surgery. If the above two methods are not effective, laparoscopic surgery should be considered. Under laparoscopy, the follicles are punctured to reduce the androgen level, thereby achieving the purpose of treatment. Life care: Patients can generally resume ovulation and become pregnant after the symptoms are controlled. However, some patients will relapse, which requires regular hospital check-ups. Since the longer the polycystic ovary syndrome lasts, the more difficult it is to treat, once there are related symptoms, you should go to the hospital in time to avoid delaying the disease.
