Breast implant removal sequelae

Breast implant removal sequelae

Female friends are more concerned about the beauty of curves, that is, the curve of the breasts. Breasts are a symbol of femininity. Many female friends choose breast augmentation to make themselves look fuller. Although breast augmentation makes them look fuller and more feminine, will it be harmful to the body? Will there be any sequelae if the breast augmentation implants are removed? Let’s take a look together below.

Are there any sequelae after the implant is removed?

Generally speaking, the removal of the implant will not cause any sequelae. However, after the implant is removed, the internal breast tissue will be very soft, forming a certain depression, and the breast shape will be ugly. Therefore, it is recommended that the patient should do autologous fat breast augmentation at the same time as the implant is removed to keep the breasts full and beautiful.

In order to return to normal as soon as possible, patients can eat more foods that are beneficial to breast nutrition after the operation, such as fish, pig's trotters, soy products, vegetables and fruits, which are very beneficial for breast augmentation after the prosthesis is removed.

The quality of breast augmentation implants has developed to the point where their safety is relatively guaranteed, and cases of implant intolerance are rare. If the patient's condition is so serious that the implant needs to be removed, then after the breast augmentation surgery, in order to prevent complications, try not to have sexual intercourse and do not squeeze the breasts within one month.

Through the above introduction, we can understand that since the breast augmentation implant removal operation is relatively simple, there will generally be no sequelae. However, for safety reasons, it is better to go to a regular hospital for surgery, which also avoids the possibility of some harm.

When should the prosthesis be removed?

1. Severe breast implant capsule contracture and breast hardening.

2. Abnormal implant position of breast implant.

3. Infection: If necessary, the breast augmentation implant needs to be removed and breast augmentation surgery can be performed again after 3 months.

4. In case of implant leakage, the leakage must be cleaned first, and another breast implant surgery can be considered 3-6 months after the wound heals.

Precautions for implant removal

Do not massage your breasts within 3 months after breast implant removal. Because breast massage after surgery can easily cause local damage to the chest, and in severe cases it can even cause bleeding. There is another disadvantage of massaging right after the prosthesis is removed. It is not conducive to the adhesion and growth of the capsule layer in the chest cavity, thus prolonging the postoperative recovery period.
