What are the symptoms and treatment of cervical effusion?

When women have cervical inflammation, it often causes cervical fluid accumulation, which can cause irregular menstruation, abdominal pain, back pain and other symptoms in female patients. In severe cases, it can also cause symptoms of rebound pain, which are common symptoms of cervical effusion. If cervical effusion occurs, it must be treated promptly. Minimally invasive surgery is a more common treatment method. Of course, anti-inflammatory treatment must also be carried out in a timely manner.

Symptoms

1. Abdominal pain: There will be pain in the lower abdomen, but the degree varies, some are moderate and some are mild. Most of the discomfort is hidden.

2. Menstrual irregularities: Common manifestations include excessive menstrual flow or a significant increase in the frequency of menstruation.

3. Symptoms of infertility caused by cervical effusion: The fallopian tubes are damaged to a certain extent by the disease, which further causes obstruction of the fallopian tubes and leads to infertility.

4. Dysmenorrhea: The closer to the menstrual period, the more severe the pain will be until the menstrual period comes.

5. Others: such as pain during sexual intercourse, increased leucorrhea, gastrointestinal disorders, etc.

Treatment

1. Use a dilator to dilate and then insert the intrauterine contraceptive device. However, this type of endocervical effusion surgery is blind and cannot restore the original uterine cavity shape, and the incidence of re-adhesion is high.

2. Hysteroscopy integrates diagnosis and treatment. Some difficult-to-treat cervical effusions can be solved intuitively, simply and safely. Membranous adhesions and fibromuscular adhesions can be separated under hysteroscopy or removed with surgical scissors; for connective tissue-like dense adhesions, electroresection and separation are required under B-ultrasound or laparoscopic monitoring. After the operation for cervical hydrops, an intrauterine contraceptive device or protein glue is placed to prevent re-adhesion, so that the patient can resume menstruation and achieve the purpose of fertility.

Hysteroscopic and laparoscopic minimally invasive surgeries are better treatments for uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, ectopic pregnancies, etc. Their advantages are not only reflected in technology, but also in psychological care for patients.

Cyclic abdominal pain is another symptom of cervical effusion, which often occurs in women after abortion or curettage. In addition, obvious abdominal pain is a common symptom of women with cervical effusion, so once women experience abdominal pain, they must seek medical attention as soon as possible.
