You can rest assured about the symptoms, as the breasts are preparing for breastfeeding. The breast pain means that the mammary glands are beginning to become unblocked and milk is being supplied. At this time, the nipples will have some adverse reactions. Because everyone's physical sensitivity is different, the symptoms that appear are also different.

What causes nipple pain during pregnancy

1. Breast tenderness, darkening of areola color, etc.: accompanied by other pregnancy symptoms such as amenorrhea and loss of appetite, then women should go to the pharmacy to buy an early pregnancy test paper or go to the hospital for an early pregnancy test to determine whether they are pregnant.

2. Nipple pain: If the nipples are severely painful during breastfeeding, or the nipples are broken or cracked, it may be caused by the baby sucking and biting the nipples, resulting in nipple fissures.

3. Paroxysmal nipple pain: If the nipple pain is paroxysmal, and often starts before menstruation or worsens before menstruation, and can be relieved or disappear after menstruation, the pain is distending or stabbing, and sometimes involves the armpit or shoulder and back on the same side, and there is mild to moderate tenderness locally, it is considered to be a proliferative lesion.

4. Irregular nipple pain: If the nipple pain is only mild dull pain or dull pain, the onset has no obvious regularity, and is only occasional or paroxysmal, and some are continuous, it is often ignored because the pain is not obvious. It should be noted that such nipple pain may also be a signal of early breast malignant disease and should be given sufficient attention.

5. Continuous severe pain in the nipple: Generally speaking, if there is sudden, continuous, and severe pain in the nipple, accompanied by obvious tenderness, it is considered to be various acute infectious diseases of the breast. If there is local throbbing pain, it may be that the local area has become suppurated.
