Ovarian tumor is a foreign body growing on the ovary. It is a common tumor disease in women. It can be divided into benign and malignant. The size, location and other phenomena of the tumor can be determined through B-ultrasound. Benign tumors generally have no clinical symptoms in the early stages of the disease and are often discovered during gynecological examinations. Malignant tumors are very harmful and have the highest mortality rate among gynecological tumors.

Now many ovarian tumors can be detected early, which is a good thing and is of great benefit to protecting women's health. Indeed, ovarian tumors pose a great threat to women's health. They can occur at any age, especially in women of childbearing age. The incidence rate is relatively high, accounting for about one-third of female reproductive organ tumors. According to European and American data, there has been a gradual upward trend in malignant ovarian tumors in recent years. Currently, there are not many methods for early diagnosis, and its mortality rate ranks first among gynecological malignant tumors. This deserves our high attention. However, not all ovarian tumors are malignant. There are many types of ovarian tumors, the most common of which are ovarian cysts, most of which are benign.

Hazard 1: When the cyst compresses the bladder due to its volume and location, the patient will experience frequent urination, difficulty urinating, urgency, and pain in the lower abdomen or back, causing inconvenience to women's normal work and daily life.

Hazard 2: The greatest harm of ovarian tumors is that they may cause pedicle torsion, or may rupture due to external factors. The corrupted blood in the cyst will flow into the pelvic cavity, corroding normal healthy tissues, causing infection and thus causing peritonitis, with symptoms of acute abdomen.

Hazard 3: If ovarian tumors are not treated for a long time, they may lead to malignant deterioration. Ovarian malignant cysts are difficult to treat in the early stages because they rarely manifest themselves. Common symptoms include weight loss, diarrhea, abdominal bloating, abdominal edema, ascites, etc.

Hazard 4: Ovarian tumors may spread and multiply, which may have adverse effects on pregnancy even if you are pregnant. Ovarian tumors may cause ovarian tumors in early pregnancy, and ovarian tumor pedicle torsion is more likely to occur in mid-pregnancy. Large cysts in late pregnancy may cause abnormal fetal position, and may block the birth canal during delivery and cause dystocia.

Hazard 5: Ovarian tumors can lead to endocrine disorders, premature ovarian failure, and in severe cases, ovarian cancer.
