What causes bloody vaginal discharge?

Leucorrhea is generally colorless and transparent. It is a substance secreted by women and should not be mixed with any other colors. Therefore, women need to pay attention if their leucorrhea has other colors or contains blood, because these are all signs of abnormal leucorrhea. So what does it mean if the leucorrhea contains blood?

1. Cervical polyps

Cervical polyps are a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. The main symptoms are yellow leucorrhea, leucorrhea with a bad odor, and leucorrhea with blood.

2. Cervical cancer

A small amount of bleeding or increased vaginal discharge after sexual intercourse;

3. Severe cervical erosion

The main symptoms are yellowish, increased, sticky and foul-smelling vaginal discharge, accompanied by vulvar itching, bleeding during sexual intercourse, lumbar pain, dysmenorrhea, etc.

4. Acute vaginitis

The main symptoms are increased leucorrhea, which is yellow watery or purulent with a foul odor. When the infection is severe, spot vaginal bleeding may occur.

5. Senile vaginitis

Clinical manifestations: increased vaginal discharge, light yellow in color, and in severe cases, bloody and purulent vaginal discharge;

6. Endometrial cancer

The clinical manifestations are irregular bleeding, with the amount of bleeding varying from time to time. Premenopausal women may have heavy menstrual flow and prolonged duration, while postmenopausal women may experience postmenopausal bleeding.

7. Ovulation bleeding

Mid-menstrual bleeding (bloody leucorrhea) refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual periods, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain.

Aggressive treatment can eliminate susceptibility factors. Keep the vulva clean and dry and avoid scratching. It is not advisable to eat spicy and irritating foods, the effect is very good. Change your underwear frequently and wash it with warm water. Do not mix it with other clothes to avoid cross infection.
