What are the causes of fetal arrest?

What are the causes of fetal arrest?

Women of childbearing age should learn more about common sense of life. For example, they should pay attention to understanding some reasons of fetal growth retardation, because the healthy development of the embryo is actually related to many factors, such as factors of the mother and the fetus itself.

1. The fetus will also have digestive system activities in the mother's belly. The size of the fetal gallbladder should be checked regularly. You can't just say it's big based on one check. You must check it again. There may be changes at different times. You must pay attention to regular check-ups. It is difficult to determine whether there are any abnormalities or not, so it is impossible to determine whether there will be any impact.

2. Fetal growth retardation is a B-ultrasound diagnosis. The fetus stops developing in the uterus, which actually means that the fetus stops growing. During the B-ultrasound, it can be found that the gestational sac is deformed, the fetal bud is present or absent, and the fetal heartbeat disappears. If it is not discovered, the baby may present with bleeding or spontaneous abortion in the future. Nowadays, the examination methods are more advanced, so B-ultrasound can be used for diagnosis even when there is no abdominal pain or bleeding.

3. To diagnose "fetal growth retardation", you must first check the gestational age. After confirming the gestational age, if the fetus is small or the fetal bud and fetal heartbeat are slow to appear, you can check again in another week for safety. If there is still no development or the gestational sac is atrophied and the fetal heartbeat disappears, you can make a diagnosis. Generally, when fetal growth retardation is diagnosed, what needs to be done is to terminate the pregnancy, and a uterine curettage can be performed.

4. There are many reasons for fetal growth retardation. One is the mother's factors, and the other is the fetus's own factors. Most of them are related to the abnormal embryonic development of the fetus itself. In fact, it is the natural selection of the fetus's self-elimination because the quality of the fetus's development is poor. The possible causes include environmental factors, air pollution, radiation, etc., and maternal factors include viral infection, the mother's advanced age, and her own medical complications, etc.

5. If the fetus stops developing once, don't be too nervous. It doesn't mean it will definitely stop developing next time. The incidence of fetal growth retardation is very high now. If the fetus stops developing at the same gestational week for two or three times in a row, both husband and wife will need to undergo chromosome and other related examinations.
