How to deal with a bee sting during pregnancy? 7 steps to help you solve it

In spring and summer, when flowers are in full bloom, there are also the most bees. When pregnant women go out for a walk in the evening, they sometimes like to smell the flowers, which inevitably leads to them being stung by bees occasionally. So what should a pregnant woman do if she is stung by a bee? In fact, the method is very simple and can be done in just 7 steps.

1. After being stung by a bee, you should first check the wound carefully. If the stinger is still in the wound, you will see a small black dot on the skin. You can pick it out with tweezers or a needle tip, or stick it with tape and then peel it off. Then wash it with clean water and apply iodine tincture to the affected area.

2. Apply 5% soda water, soapy water or 3% ammonia water locally. For wasp stings, no medicine is needed but acetic acid or vinegar can be applied locally.

3. Use 20% aluminum acetate solution for cold wet compress to reduce swelling directly if the pain is severe.

4. Mash the garlic or ginger or apply the juice to the affected area.

5. Cut the fresh eggplant and apply it to the affected area or add appropriate amount of sugar and mash it together and apply it.

6. Mash fresh violet yedoensis, lobelia, dandelion, wild chrysanthemum, leek, etc. together or individually and apply to the affected area.

7. In severe cases, antihistamines, snake medicine or corticosteroids can be used to overcome the condition. Those with severe reactions such as shock should be rescued immediately.

Guidance:

Because the venom of bees is acidic, you can use soapy water, baking soda water, or alkaline solutions such as dilute ammonia water to wash the venom in the wound. You can also cut a raw eggplant and apply it to the affected area to reduce swelling and relieve pain. If the wound is severely swollen, you can use a cold towel to wet the wound, but do not apply hot compress.

Precautions after stinging

1. Wasps are poisonous, but bees are not. After being stung by a bee, you should also remove the stinger first. The difference in treatment from wasps is that you can apply some ammonia, baking soda or soapy water to the wound.

2. If a person has no symptoms twenty minutes after being stung by a bee, can he be assured?

3. Cleaning: Once stung by a bee, clean the wound with warm water, soapy water, salt water or sugar water. If there is no water, fresh urine will also work. If there is any stinger left in the wound, it should be removed immediately.

4. Apply medicine: balm, safflower oil, green ointment, etc. You can also mash and chew ginger, garlic, purslane (a wild vegetable) and apply it to the wound.
